 I Like the minimalistic, simple design with hidden zippered pockets, simple cuffs, and a touch of personality with the neon green trim of the hood. One thing to note: the pocket zippers can be difficult to do up when only using one hand. The material does not get caught. There is simply not enough downward tension on the jacket because it is so light

 It is made with gray goose down, making this a very lightweight but extremely warm jacket. From my experience. I Find this to be a great jacket on its own. Around the minus five to plus five degrees Celsius range anything colder and you will either want to have a heavier hoodie underneath or another layer on top

 The Thorium AR hoody comes in a male and female version and is available in a variety of colors depending on your preference. This color here is called Shore Pine and will be released in Fall 2018. The jacket I have is also a size small I'm 5, 6, and 120 pounds and it fits pretty well with enough room underneath for a thicker hoody layer. For reference, I was between size extra small and small online, so the sizing chart is quite accurate

So I figured although it's spring, it's a Thorium Ar kind of day. So today we'll be talking about the Thorium Ar hoodie from Arcturux

 So I figured although it's spring, it's a Thorium Ar kind of day. So today we'll be talking about the Thorium Ar hoodie from Arcturux. The Thorium Ar is a down puppy that comes in both jacket and hoodie configuration. It uses 750 fill Power European Goose Down and it has 130 grams of fill for a size medium

 logoing and design allows you to wear it in town you know to work if you needed to. It still looks somewhat professional as it's very subdued. Just the one logo here. Personally, this used to be my Urban Down hoodie, but these days my use cases for the species for static use for static warmth for winter camping or fall camping

 Another con in my opinion, which is probably, which might be a personal opinion here is that it uses it. It has its proprietary down mapping system which uses synthetic in various areas of the piece of the jacket. Personally, I would have preferred an all down piece, but it hasn't been too bad for me to be honest. In my personal experience, I find that coral off insulation packs down quite fast if you use your pieces very regularly and there's no way to relock them like down

Otherwise, looks awesome, fabric seems pretty tough, very comfortable, the hoody is so warm i barely need a tuque anymore, and all around very warm for any activity in less than extreme environments.

 A typical XL person with a broad chest and shoulders might find trouble fitting into an XXL of this brand.  This is a great jacket otherwise. Certainly a 5-star product if the sizing was accurate. I'm pretty bummed that I had to return it

 The look and feel of the jacket are both excellent. The down fill was even and plentiful thoughout the jacket. The jacket felt very light but was still substantial. When I first tried on the jacket I noticed the arms and shoulders were a little bit on the snug side for an XXL

 Certainly a 5-star product if the sizing was accurate. I'm pretty bummed that I had to return it. I suppose the winter coat audessey continues.

Everything was great about this jacket except for the accuracy of size. The zippers zipped smoothly and grabbed nicely. The look and feel of the jacket are both excellent. The down fill was even and plentiful thoughout the jacket

Sized Much Smaller Than Expected

 Finally, their gear has nice aesthetics - fit, design, colorways. When you see North Face and Patagonia everywhere, it's nice to rock something different.

The material on this vest was very flimsy and I was not impressed with the durability of the fabric. The vest sized smaller than large, and was too snug for a 200 pounder like me. REI was very good to accept the return.

 So It has got a good, casual look and feel as well as an adventurous attitude,. really nice, you know, kind of dual purpose vest here with the Transcendent vest.. We Do have a down fill insulation of a 650 fill power, so it is a relatively light, compressible down insu-lation

 You know, a nice com-fortable fit. Like I Said, not to snug, but not very loose at all. Now This down is not treated, so if it gets wet, it is going to lose its insulation properties. So Keep that in mind

 They are really comfortable and cozy and the down insulation is ac-tually on the outside of the pocket so it provides some nice warmth for your hands if you are not wearing gloves.. And One of these pockets, I believe it is the right hand, is reversible, so you can pack this guy inside out onto itself and it will zip up nicely, create a nice pack size, maybe a small travel pillow. And There is a nice hang loop in there as well where you can hang it from a harness if you are climbing with it, so a nice additional bonus to the vest there
