It's weather resistant, protective and very durable – and feels that way while you're wearing it. I love the fit and green orchid color. It fits well over other midlayers and my helmet, but does not feel constrictive. The length in the back is highly appreciated, so my lower back is not exposed when bending over or moving around

This is my all-time favourite jacket for field work in the summer months (I am a biologist). It is very durable! I have to pass through barbed wire fences and bushwhack through the forest so my field work clothes get trashed - this is the first jacket I have owned that has not been a victim to fences and the forest! I have gotten it caught on the barbed wire fences and forest branches many times but have not had a hole yet - only snags. It it not completely waterproof, but if you got stuck in a light rain and quickly hike back to the truck, you are not soaking wet. This jacket is also very light weight which I love - perfect for when the bugs are bad on a hot summer day
