 I have and give you some feedback on things that I like about it, which at this point I have really no negatives to sure about this new softshell jacket from Arc'teryx, which it's not a new offering from them. But for me its new, it's a new shell and having this is a really awesome for me, because I've always wanted an Arctic softshell. Our church really is kind of the the leader in the design and the fabrics and the things that they're doing for their outerwear. That a lot of people - don't they don't do the the moment that I put on this jacket it was instantly I knew I was gon na love and enjoy so let's get into some specifics about it and and then we'll go from there

 It'S almost like parka, nice and long on the back. We'Ve got your typical drawstring in the waist which allows you to tighten it up and that either keeps air front like cold air, from going up inside of the jacket or to help keep the the jacket twist. Your body on the hood you've got this. This bungee system that allows you to tighten up - and this is pretty typical for for any type of shell plus the bungee in the back, and that allows you to if you don't have a helmet on to really cinch up the hood, nice and tight on your Head so that you can keep yourself like from the the hood being too loose on you on your head, which is really nice

 Then you have a lovely, very neat, little full length, zip when that's done all the way up to the top, the collar sits quite high, so that just protects your neck from the elements. Mobility/Comfort While the Fast/Light moniker isn’t the most apt for this jacket, I totally get why the NW Alpine crew decided against more descriptive names: Unencumbered/Cozy or Snug/Fluid just don’t have the same ring, somehow. Names aside, this long-armed and close-cut piece delivered outstanding comfort and flexibility during even my most gymnastic efforts.

Weight Considering its trim fit, single pocket, and simple design ethic, I fully expected the Fast/Light to be, well, lighter.  Once I’d experienced its warmth and general burliness, however, I felt that the extra ounces were well-spent.

 We put it on at the beginning of a three-day hike in the White Mountains and didn’t take off until we stepped out of the woods.  This type of Polartec fabric was new to me and it is really comfortable worn directly over skin. The thumb loops are welcome when slipping my wind shell on and the hood has a nice snug fit that works great under both my ski and climbing helmets. I went with a size large which was an athletic but not too snug fit for my 5’9″ 180 lb 42 inch chest. It was a more casual but functional fit for Erik who is 5’8″, 160 lb. To select the right fit just use the size chart above and the best measurement to refer to would be chest size.
