 Again, you can see the length on this is a little bit longer than the non-hooded version. Okay, comes right on around and I'll throw on the non-hooded version on top as well. So between the Gamma Sl, this Gamma Lt and the Gamma Mx I, I really think that the Gamma Sl is sized a little bit larger. It seems to give a little extra room than the the Lt and the Mx

 But a lot of times in the summer if it's just a cool damp kind of drizzly day and I'm going out to the mall or something. Um, you know, if it's not porn, I don't need a hard shell. I don't need a hood, but this is just a nice enough layer to help keep you dry and keep you a little warm. It's really comfortable

 Okay, there's not a lot of room here now. This is a stretchy material. It definitely has some stretch to it, but it's going to be tight. Okay, I'll put on my Cerium Lt in a minute and show you how that fits

 Um, so a couple features of this jacket that I'd like to go over one of them is the sleeves and the armpits. Now I don't know that if this is an older version, if it's any different in the newer version, but for me on this one, the jacket is actually cut pretty trim. okay. It's a pretty trim fitting coat, but under the arms and the sleeves you will see here, there's not a lot of extra material

I was looking for a more comfortable, sporty, breathable sun shirt for hiking than the button-down fishing shirts I usually wear. 

The pros: This shirt is very breathable and the fabric is incredibly soft and light. It is very comfortable. The print is also more subtle in person than in the pictures, which I like.

Very comfy and light, but pilled almost immediately.

Did not have pattern on it as pictured-item received was just all solid colored. Still a great fit and product but FYI if anybody else orders

Love this hoodie! I bought it for backpacking but have worn it about every other day since receiving it. It is soooo soft and the fit is flattering. I originally purchased a  Large but it was too big and returned for a medium which fits perfect and is still looses enough to feel flowy and  breezy. For reference, I typically wear a medium in shirts/flannels/mid-layers

  Also, the fabric had permanently stretched out in some spots under the backpack's straps. So disappointed because it was perfect in every other way.  It just won't last under a pack.

 Also, the draw cord would sit right underneath the hip belt for my hiking pack so I would have to either pull it up or down to keep it from creating a rub spot. If they’re looking for a feminine detail perhaps a gentle scallop or subtle lace detail around the hood opening…? Or a subtle curved hem at the bottom without the drawstring. 

 The fit in the body was pretty good (I’m a 34C in the bust, ordered Med), but wish the sleeves were a little longer. When using the thumb holes I can feel the material pulling across my shoulders when I reach forward. (I have broad shoulders and long arms- The large in the smoky quartz was great in the shoulders and sleeve length but big in the body/chest) Wish the sleeves had a curved hem to cover the backs of hands or finger holes to hold it over the backs of the hands. 

With all that being said this is still one of the best efforts I’ve seen for a sun protection shirt that actually looks somewhat feminine and not just like a piece of athletic gear.

 The smoky quartz was not great with my skin tone. Wish they had more bright/jewel tone colors instead of earth colors.  This is exactly what I was looking for to cover the back of my neck and head and not worry about getting sunburned, I wore it all day and it protected me!

 The pocket is handy but small, big enough for a key and id but not a phone. I think the fit is a little large and roomy but the fabric is so silky it doesn’t get in the way or chafe. Women’s crater lake hoody

First off, the good: the actual design of the hoody is great. It's loose enough to breathe on a hot hike, form fitting enough to be flattering, stretchy enough to be comfortable. The red color looks great, the hood fit is fantastic, and the fabric is thin enough to breathe well.

 The waist already developed holes where the backpack hip strap clip was. To me, that is completely unacceptable for a product in this price range. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a product that can actually last more than two wears.

Extremely poor durability

Fits like a dream, feels like silk, and it's lightweight as a feather. And has sun protection? More, please! I was hesitant to buy this because it has a hood which I'll likely never use, but once the shirt is on you don't even know it's there. Though a bit pricier than other UPF shirts you'll see on Amazon, I suggest choosing one of these over a bundle of the cheaper ones. You won't be sorry
