I've been snowboarding for a few years now and I cannot imagine anything topping this. That being said, I have a dilemma. I went to get a board for the first time to stop renting. It's awesome, skip the line, hit the lift. This being said, I got fitted into something that I didn't know wouldn't work very well for me. The bindings were sized too small, and the board is not quite the performer that I was hoping for. It doesn't seem designed for 'speed' but more for playing around and hitting stuff...a 'rock board' if you will. Now I'm not entirely surprised that the bindings were fitted small as I wear a size 13 boot, 6' 4", and 205lbs. I already have some bindings on the way, but I'd like a board that will not only fit my feet, but has more of a powerhouse design if you will. I know directional boards are an option, or other styles which are great, but im looking for a specific board that you like, or heard other like.

Recommendation for something kind of specific

 I'm riding the 154cm 2020 model with my bindings set up at the angles of positive 12 on the front foot, negative 9 on the back and a width of just under 22 inches. I weigh 72kg or 160lbs and am 6ft tall. I'm wearing mid-stiff flex, I'm wearing mid-flexing Solomon Launch boots which are size 9.5

 I'll mainly be comparing the Mountain Twin to the Captain of Mercury because they have very similar features and I've spent quite a bit of time riding both boards. There's also the upgraded Ultra Mountain Twin that has a stiffer flex, lighter weight and a faster base. I think that the Mercury sits somewhere in the middle between the regular Mountain Twin and the Ultra Mountain Twin. Both the Mountain Twin and the Mercury have a profile with camber on your feet, rocker on the nose and tail, a setback stance, mid-stiff flex, sintered base and some sort of edge design to give you better grip on ice

 Although Jones rate the Mountain Twin as having a flex rating of 7 out of 10, it feels softer than that to me, especially once it's broken in. I would say at most it's a medium flex. That isn't to say it feels too soft, it's just a lot easier to move around and flex than the Mercury. The Mountain Twin and Ultra Mountain Twin are the only two men's boards in the Jones line that don't have any spoon in the nose or tail so they have a very direct feel when starting a turn

Jones Mountain Twin Snowboard Review

 As you might expect the Jones Mountain Twin does have a mountain twin shape so what that means is that between the contact points it's effectively a true twin it rides just the same in both directions but you get a little bit of extra length outside the contact points on the nose to help float and powder and it's also got a pretty stiff flex I would rate this flex right around a six six and a half out of ten not quite as aggressive as the flagship but definitely a pretty aggressive snowboard.  Good morning guys it's a cold cloudy day up here on Whistler Blackcomb today and I am going to be trying out the 2018 Jones Mountain Twin shout out to Evolution Whistler for the demo and yeah it should be a good day to test out this board we got some soft snow but we're probably going to be sticking mainly to the groomers just because the coverage is a little dicey off pissed but uh should be fun. So Jones actually leases the magnetraction technology for Mervin and they have it on the Mountain Twin so it adds additional contact points along the edge it's a mellower magnetraction versus what Libtech uses like on boards like the T-Rice Pro for example but still adding tons of grip it's a pretty firm icy day out here and still having loads of fun carving holding a strong edge and really throwing my weight into the turns and the board is just holding up really well right now. A big standout for me on the Mountain Twin that's actually pretty surprising in my opinion is this board is actually really really poppy it has a cam rock camber profile so camber between the insert packs with a rockered release in the nose and tail but despite having those rockered tips still providing loads of pop ollieing rollers and things like that. One of my favorite parts about this board is actually just the top sheet it's a beautiful snowboard just looking down at it while I'm riding it's just stoking me out it's a great looking board Jones killed it on this one

The Jones Mountain Twin is a good choice, as is Arbor Shiloh Camber. For bindings, i really like NOW/Jones bindings for their Skatetech. Can feel the edge power really well.

Budget is not really an issue, I recently got a big promotion so I am looking to buy myself something nice.

I am mostly looking for general boarding, and improving to become comfortable on blacks and maybe tackle some double blacks. I may also go to the park once in a while, but I primarily plan to just ride down the mountain. I understand a stiffer board, bindings, boots are better for speed and stability. So I've figured something more stiff than not, but not maximum stiffness.

I just bought RIDE 2022 Deadbolt Zonal (9.5M US) (Flex 7) snowboarding boots today.

EDIT: I really liked the never summer, I think a big part of it is the graphic lol. But there is too many people telling me that is a mistake.
