Aqua Sphere Kayenne Jr vs Speedo Hydrospex Classic Goggle

While these are inexpensive, a nice design, easy to adjust, and fit my daughter relatively well, they have one significant flaw. The lenses distort the image underwater. It's like looking in the passenger side mirror of a car, where everything looks smaller, and things are slightly blurry. My physics is quite rusty, but I'd say they have a refraction? or diffraction? problem? Thinking it might be my eyes, I compared them to my wife's Speedo goggles, which have flat glass lenses, and there is no comparison

I stumbled upon the Aqua Sphere brand a couple years back when seeking out alternatives for my little guys to the traditional type of goggle. I was always concerned and bothered when the kiddos would come out of the pool and have those huge suction marks around their eyes. I think younger kids have a tendency to over-tighten and not quite understand or realize when they are tight enough to keep water out, but loose enough not to suction their eyeballs. Just always made me uneasy

Fantastic for summer! They work wonderful when swimming at the pool and or lake area. We had a slight issue with the tightness around the eyes, but it worked well enough for who had them on. Super happy to have them in our bag!

fits good,feels comfortable for kids and no water gets in at all.I waited 3 months to write this review expecting as always that the goggles would not survive that long.Now the kids use them from 3 months and they are good as new.Not to mention the trendy case that amazon shipped them in,helps a lot

They do not get dirty and remain clear while I am swimming in water. They also are comfortable to wear, take on and off.

No leak when it fits tight enough. The material will pull hair, but most goggles straps are made that way to keep it from slipping. I like that there is no film like coating inside the goggles, we had some goggles with coating that got dissolved by the pool water that made the goggles gunky and unusable.

Hydrospex classic swimming goggles are good quality and adjustable to fit the size around the head. They keep my eyes free from water and I can easily see with these goggles on. I like that these aren't too tight fitting and do a good job at securing around the head.

I would give it 5 stars if it would last for more than 1 swim season. During the summer, we swim almost daily and I had to purchase another pair this year b/c the plastic tends to rip at nose piece after a while and the lenses gets scratched up with wear and tear. I guess if you are delicate with them, they may last longer than 1 swim season.

I swim at the Y indoor pool during the daylight hours & have very short hair. This mask does not slip on turns as other brands have done & stays relatively clear if I don't touch it.

My son is in a swim club and we purchased these because of the recommendations on outside websites. The fit was decent and he swam successfully in them for about 2 weeks. Because he is a regular swimmer, we are big on post-pool care; these were rinsed thoroughly in cold fresh water and dried after every practice and meet. We also kept them in a case

Lucky me, I got to sample these babies free in exchange for my honest feedback and thoughts, but I didn't expect to be so highly impressed. This is a great buy if you are in the market for swim gear, going on vacation, or are amatuer to pro water sport athlete.
