Comfort

A must for Apple users... But I wish some things were different...

Functionality

A Great Mouse With Some Design Flaws

How exactly? Well before I list the features that I found missing, these are features that won’t be a big deal to a lot of people as there are other ways of completing these tasks but for the price of this mouse it would have been nice to see the functionality be packed in. Anyway, the two biggest features I noticed personally that were missing on the Magic Mouse are firstly, there’s no way to rotate photos or objects. This is something that can only be done on the track pad and secondly, whenever editing video on programs like iMovie, which again, not everyone will do, there’s no way to zoom in or out of the timeline you’re working in. This can, again, only done using a track pad or option within iMovie

Narrow, but very good gaming mouse

So I haven't tested it in that respect. In terms of tech, I'm not too involved with knowing much on dpi specs (husband's territory), but from a user perspective, I have had zero issues. Good response time to my movements. The glow settings are pretty neat, I found that a pleasant surprise :)

Design

Apple's Magic Mouse May See Redesign or New MagSafe Charging Capabilities

Magic Mouse is by far the worst Apple accessory. The sensor is trash, the port location is bad, the entire ergonomy of the mouse is non-existent. It absolutely needs a redesign.

Sans the large hump, the rubber side grips and fantastic shape and sensor make this a top FPS mouse for sure.

A Good Example of Form Over Function

Too much form over function to me. I would take a corded mouse over this one if I had to. Unless you prefer mice like the Apple Magic Mouse as opposed to a traditional style mouse with scroll wheels and a mouse like shape, I'd recommend trying out other mice first before paying for this one. Chances are you'll find something that's more comfortable and less frustrating to use for less money

Amazing mouse, but beware of quality issues

The back side button on my second copy was loose and protruded out from the side of the mouse quite a bit. On a good copy, you shouldn't be able to jiggle the side buttons at all, but on the defective second copy the back mouse button jiggled. It's a bit hard to see in the picture, but the second copy's back button also protruded out more than the first - the buttons shouldn't really extend too far from the side of the mouse at all. On some clicks, the back side button would make springy noises

Grip

I’m so disappointed with the Magic Mouse and I can’t believe it’s still in production. It’s extremely flat, awkward, and it’s non-ergonomic shape does not sit nicely in ones hand- at least not in mine. I feel my hand cramping after five minutes of using one because it forces my hand into such an unnatural position. Apple would make a killing on a really quality mouse that’s either wired or wireless or both
