Furthermore, it's super lightweight and you'll notice the difference immediately if you switch from a heavier mouse.

- The SIZE and WEIGHT. It'll fit small-to-medium sized hands for either palm/claw/finger-tip grip easily.

- The SHAPE & BUILD QUALITY. It is a simple design and nearly perfect. I think the back flares out a bit too much and could've been tapered in a bit tighter but it fits in my palm well enough. The entire mouse is plastic and there are no grips (no glue, YAY!!)

Quick thoughts on every wireless mouse I've tried (one paragraph each)

 So in conclusion, in the past the Rival 3 and Rival 100 haven't really had the features to put them high on the top mice list. And also while the shape is good, it's not one of the best. In my opinion. I don't really have any problems with it as such, just the top mice have better shapes

 Yep, this is a nice shape. It's got the right angles on the sides, comfortable hump in the middle, gradual slope toward the buttons. Really not too much to critique here. Number two, it has to be lightweight

5cm. But for palm grip I'd say under 18cm, and between 17 and 20 could fingertip or claw grip it. Here's a look at it next to some other mice so you get a general idea of the size. And also a look at some of its competition in the top 10 for placement

 When it really comes down to it, mouse choice is personal preference. But among some of the competitive communities, we're developing a bit of a list of features. So let's look at the new wireless mouse from SteelSeries and go through the list. One, it has to have a good shape

SteelSeries enters the light weight mouse game with a bang ... giving us a 68g wireless Rival 3, along with a USB Type C soft and flexible braided charging cable.

Very impressive stuff out of the gate. Still a few quality issues, but it's cheaper than the other top tier wireless mice so maybe that's to be expected.

The draw back is the shape still isn't the best, but it's still a good shape, so definitely worth a look.

First off, this mouse is great. It feels great, works great and even looks great. The steel series app also makes adjusting the rgb easy and fun. My only issue is the battery life

I guess it kinda makes up for it in the fact you can fully charge it in like 30-40 minutes, but still

Great performance, sub par battery life

 The scroll wheel has quite a lot of feedback, it's quite tactile when you're rolling it through, I quite like that, it's one of those things that's personal, it can also be quite loud. It's got a tight scroll press so there's no pre-travelling, it's right on top of the switch, I like this again and to me when I've been using it the battery life's been fine. I've had no issues, it's lasted me at least a couple of days without any problems whatsoever without turning it off as well. So now getting to some of the cons here, so using circular feet, I did find them really scratchy at first but after quite a bit of use, let's say around 24 hours, I did find that they improved and wore down and now they're perfectly smooth

 I reckon it's using 80 hours on 2.4 gigahertz and it also runs on Bluetooth at 200 hours. Overall battery life I've had no problems and the price at the moment in the UK is around 80 pounds or about 80 US dollars. So what do I think of this mouse overall, I'll tell you what, because of the shape and some of the things that perhaps could improve on these switches myself with modding it, I already think it's quite a good mouse

 So they've either improved it or maybe a few dodgy copies out there, mine is perfectly fine though, it's rock solid. One of the things that uses some of the best software out there still is the really good software, you can configure it to every little bit that you like and that's one of the good things about this mouse as well is the software. The scroll wheel has quite a lot of feedback, it's quite tactile when you're rolling it through, I quite like that, it's one of those things that's personal, it can also be quite loud. It's got a tight scroll press so there's no pre-travelling, it's right on top of the switch, I like this again and to me when I've been using it the battery life's been fine
