The result is an amazing tablet that can't quite justify its luxury-laptop-level price, because you still need a computer running a non-tablet OS if you want to open more than three windows or use a second monitor.

But I think the biggest hurdle with the Tab S8 and S8 Plus as they are is their pricing. These are premium tablets with big price tags — especially once you start to add accessories to them. Samsung will likely release some more attractively priced tablets to replace some of its older models, and it has been good about delivering software updates to bring some of these new features to existing devices, though the a company spokesperson declined to comment on future updates when I asked.

User Experience

Apple still dominates the tablet market.

I switched to the M1 MacBook Pro in 2020 and the improvements were astounding. Those improvements don't really seem to have quite the same impact on the iPad, and that's mostly because it's still a victim to iPadOS. I don't imagine that Apple has any plans on allowing its iPads to run MacOS, due to cannibalization of the MacBook market, but iPadOS has its limitations. I do not think the iPad is ready to replace your laptop quite yet, but the power is there to do so

9”, this is not as big of an improvement as I thought it would be. Yes, this is faster but unless you’re a pro or gamer, you probably won’t notice a big difference from the chips a few years ago. One tiny hiccup, but all is well now.

The battery life is awesome. I can sit and edit for hours without being interrupted to charge it. I actually don’t think it’s ever told me to charge it, I just do after I am done with it. The touch screen is very responsive as well

Battery The 8000 mAh battery on here is also gonna make sure that this tablet goes all day. It's definitely not the best battery life I've experienced on a tablet, but it's certainly enough for long productivity sessions. I typically get a full day of use on productivity days but when I add gaming or streaming to the mix, I do have to keep a portable charger with me. This 12.9 iPad is huge and heavy, making it inconvenient to use, which is exactly what the iPad was designed NOT to be. The screen is "ghosting," meaning if you're using at night on a black background, white letters or images have a halo effect. Not good for night time use

No charger included!

-1* just because there is no charger included with the tablet. This turns this beautiful and fast machine into a very expensive paperweight as soon as the start up battery charge depletes. I've never before gotten a high end tablet or laptop that did not come with it's own charger. Especially lacking here because the device is capable of fast charging, which is a considerable upgrade and is not a standard feature

Size

The smaller iPad is cute, but the 12.9" screen size was better for us and the 2TB capacity makes this the perfect iPad for us.

so i took alot of time comparing the s8 tablet models and honestly outside of the screen i didnt see much reason to go with a bigger tablet. i looked into alot of reviews about ways to improve the screen on here with the eye comfort sheild and adjusting the intensity does make a huge differnce i use my tablet more on the go than ever before so bigger didnt make sense as i have enough to carry for a 12 hour overnight shift or going on trips with my wife and kids. the s pen is a major improved from the past and i dont see a huge differnce but these models as they say the other 2 have faster respond time. i paired this with the keyboard book cover so i can do more laptop like tasks
