User Experience

Apple still dominates the tablet market.

I switched to the M1 MacBook Pro in 2020 and the improvements were astounding. Those improvements don't really seem to have quite the same impact on the iPad, and that's mostly because it's still a victim to iPadOS. I don't imagine that Apple has any plans on allowing its iPads to run MacOS, due to cannibalization of the MacBook market, but iPadOS has its limitations. I do not think the iPad is ready to replace your laptop quite yet, but the power is there to do so

Nice tablet irritating software Google you've lost it!!

I've gone on the internet and looked at all the people who hate Google Assistant which apparently is part of this I haven't tried the Google Assistant in depth yet but if that's part of it I would just like to get rid of that bubble that holds the icons help to anyone who can help me, please and thank you! so beware before you buy and if you like doing things like that if you like Google and the new assistant you'll love this like I said the tablet is a nice tablet clarity of the screen easy to hold it's nice and thin but I don't like being tested by Google and being frustrated at using the software on my tablet.

Tab A7 review and commparative review to Tab A 10.1 3 Gb

Overall this is a great tablet in regards to its performance for reading and watching YouTube and movies. The screen size and display is great for watching videos, there is nothing fancy about it like the latest tab S series tablets but its gets the job done. In regards to reading the 1080p display and size of the screen is a joy to read off of. Coming from a 720p fire tablet 8, the letters look crisp and the screen real-estate is a major upgrade

9”, this is not as big of an improvement as I thought it would be. Yes, this is faster but unless you’re a pro or gamer, you probably won’t notice a big difference from the chips a few years ago. The picture, taken on my iPhone XS max, shows a comparison between the 3rd gen iPad Pro 12.9 from 2018 (right) and the new one (left)

Mine only lasted six months

This tablet acts like that. I will probably get my electronics elsewhere from now on, because of this 'new' product being so unreliable. Too bad. I feel it was a waste of money, because I will need to replace it

Battery Life

One tiny hiccup, but all is well now.

The battery life is awesome. I can sit and edit for hours without being interrupted to charge it. I actually don’t think it’s ever told me to charge it, I just do after I am done with it. The touch screen is very responsive as well

6 months old and already won’t charge!

.. just yesterday it was left to charge a full 8 hours and it only had 85% charge! 16 hours after than and it had GONE DOWN to only 15%! (And yes, I TRIPLE checked for lightening bolt status after checking the battery life the 1st time

Camera Quality

Waited to upgrade for several years - worth it!

It’s effortless and smooth. The M1 makes a huge difference. + the camera is amazing and the depth sensor opens worlds of possibilities for immersive, but you’ll likely rarely use it + it’s an Apple so the resell value is great. This reduces the cost of ownership because when you upgrade in a few years you can still sell for a good amount

Tablet for reading comics

Galaxy S5e, S6, and S7(+) would be best if you care about visual quality above all else.

Size

The smaller iPad is cute, but the 12.9" screen size was better for us and the 2TB capacity makes this the perfect iPad for us.

I have an old kindle that I use to read on but I want to upgrade to something about the size of the Galaxy Tab A7 but lighter. I like the 8.7" screen size a lot but thought that 366g felt a little bit too heavy.
