Apple iPad Mini 6 vs Apple iPad Pro 5

Had my iPad mini 2 with me for almost 6 years and I figured it’s time to upgrade cause I can’t download new apps since the iOS isn’t supported anymore and some apps suddenly freeze and get laggy I upgraded from my iPad mini 2 to the iPad Mini 6 and it’s the best iPad upgrade I’ve ever experienced! Like for real 🙌🏻 The watching experience & gaming experience is just absolutely immersive because of how fast the iPad mini is with the A15. I also love how the new speakers are placed both at the top and at the bottom, the speakers sounds so good and amazing while watching or playing games. I must say, the iPad Mini 6 is really impressive with its capabilities in a small form factor. But sometimes I feel like the screen size is a bit small and lacking when multitasking apps so I might consider getting the iPad Air 5 if they also release it with purple color cuz it’s my favorite 😄 the iPad mini 6 is a lil bit small for multitasking but don’t get me wrong, the device is amazing! It’s just that mini 6 seems to be only suitable for reading, watching, gaming and not really for heavy multitasking like school stuffs and work so yea 🤷🏻‍♀️ just my honest review…

9”, this is not as big of an improvement as I thought it would be. Yes, this is faster but unless you’re a pro or gamer, you probably won’t notice a big difference from the chips a few years ago. Again, I made sure they had the same settings - max brightness, Night Shift off, and True Tone both on and off. The Mini 5 screen always wins by a hair. Add to all that the removal of the headphone jack and I'd say that if you don't need Pencil 2 support, keep your Mini 5 or buy a refurbished one if you're in the market for your first Mini. Save yourself some money too

However, the iPad Pro 12.9 is not always ahead of its 11-inch sibling regarding colour reproduction and dark surroundings. The use of PWM for brightness control in the 12.9-inch model will also upset some people

Battery life is terrific. Some apps pages sometimes freeze. But after restarting the iPad and turning off unneeded background app refresh, issue seems to have resolved for the most part. The Pro Case has been great, too

The battery life is awesome. I can sit and edit for hours without being interrupted to charge it. I actually don’t think it’s ever told me to charge it, I just do after I am done with it. The touch screen is very responsive as well

For example; this cable that isn't supplied. Gotta buy more horribly overpriced/coolaid accompanying items. Seriously Apple? Or, wanting to play music in itunes that Apple - for whatever reason - feels like ghosting that day. Or the inability to remove U2 music from my itunes

I switched to the M1 MacBook Pro in 2020 and the improvements were astounding. Those improvements don't really seem to have quite the same impact on the iPad, and that's mostly because it's still a victim to iPadOS. I don't imagine that Apple has any plans on allowing its iPads to run MacOS, due to cannibalization of the MacBook market, but iPadOS has its limitations. I do not think the iPad is ready to replace your laptop quite yet, but the power is there to do so

Other then resolution, my old Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 (2014) had a vastly better screen, more vibrant, better colors, no jelly scrolling, doesn't have the screen press issue. The Mini 6 just feels like Apple cut corners but kept the premium price.

It's also, infuriatingly, saddled with an OS that still embraces a 2012-era idea of tablet computing. The result is an amazing tablet that can't quite justify its luxury-laptop-level price, because you still need a computer running a non-tablet OS if you want to open more than three windows or use a second monitor.

The size is perfect and it makes it very easily portable and it is actually a lot lighter than l imagined it would be. The graphics are beautiful, the speakers are loud and it takes pretty recent pictures. The design is sleek and beautiful—it is definitely worth the price and I can't find anything to complain about.

The smaller iPad is cute, but the 12.9" screen size was better for us and the 2TB capacity makes this the perfect iPad for us.
