 From streaming movies and music, managing my YouTube channel, playing games,, and in photo and video editing, the iPad Air 4 just crushed. I Ran a Geekbench CPU test today and the scores that I got were 1585 for a single-core and 4261 for multi-core performance. And While I don't place a ton of value on benchmark scores,, I have to admit that these are pretty impressive for the price. From Actual user experience,: I Can tell you that while running multiple apps and playing games and watching video,, I didn't experience any type of noticeable lag

 Now In practice, I just end up using my phone because it's more convenient and it has a better camera. But For a tablet, the iPad Air 4 is actually plenty good. For The camera I do use is the front facing camera, which I use for FaceTime and Zoom calls. Again, in terms of quality,, it's as good as it needs to be

Now, Apple also replaced
the lightning port

where some of my devices
still have lightning

holding my breath for that.

and it's color accurate

meaning that the display
panel, the touch layer

And if you compare these two side-by-side,

I definitely like a fully
laminated display better.

And the reason why that's
not a deal breaker for me

is that when I look at
something like the iPad 8,

iPad Air 2020: The Real iPad Pro Killer!

I find Apple continues to disappoint with their newest product releases. The theme seems to be "change for the sake of change." And in many cases the change supplants features that apple had so perfectly implemented the result is a decline in usability. That said, I feel like a spoiled child

  Cons: They moved the fingerprint reader to the top corner, presumably to increase the size of the display. Locating the reader on the corner impacts the software UI driving endless changes that have negative value, and add up to a sizeable reduction in quality of user experience (IMO). Apple needs to accept that they should create or buy in-screen fingerprint technology. A tragic design decision

 And the (terribly paced) fingerprint reader works instantaneously. I've noticed that the audio is substantially improved over earlier versions.  Cons: They moved the fingerprint reader to the top corner, presumably to increase the size of the display. Locating the reader on the corner impacts the software UI driving endless changes that have negative value, and add up to a sizeable reduction in quality of user experience (IMO)

 I got to experience the original iPad and it was a nice device, but with Android devices being cheaper I used those. The quality was definitely paltry in comparison, and some outright dubious to the point that I find it criminal that some of them were sold in places like Wal-Mart. Out of all the Android tablets I had used, only the Samsung ones were viable, but they always felt lacking to me. In an effort to shift away from the leach that is Google, when it came time to replace my old tablet I decided to give an iPad a shot

 The 256gb storage capacity is more than plenty for my needs, though if needed the usb-c port allows for many expansion and peripheral opportunities. It’s lightweight, sleek, powerful and quite the looker.  I have never used a tablet as nice as this one, and it feels premium when you hold it in your hands, something even Samsung tablets cannot properly replicate. This device has convinced me that we are not far off from being able to use them as a full laptop/desktop replacement for most users

 With the A14 Bionic chip, there is not one thing I threw at this tablet that it could bot handle with ease. I imagine the M1 iPad Air 5 is far more efficient, but even still, this tablet has lasted me going on two years with many more to come. I do not see any slowdown as the tablet has been as smooth and crisp as it was since getting it out the box. Watching videos on this device is stunning with its crisp display, and the audio is full and has plenty in terms of volume

This Made me Love Apple

 The Magic Keyboard makes your iPad feel more like a Mac in two ways.. It gives you a keyboard typing experience very similar to a Mac and it gives you an integrated trackpad so you can move a cursor around the screen and perform multi-touch gestures just like you can on a Mac. Also, if you use basic keyboard shortcuts on a Mac like Command C for Copy, or Command

 For The rear camera, I only ever used the back camera for scanning documents, which the iPad Air actually does a pretty good job with.. If You have other Apple devices. your iPad Air is going to work well with them thanks to the Apple ecosystem

 The animations are smooth and iPad OS in general on the Air is very snappy.. Another thing I've come to use a good bit on the iPad Air is its front-facing camera. And While it is in the wrong place on the side of the iPad, when in landscape mode versus the top,, the overall 1080p camera quality is good

 But in the form factor of the iPad Air, because you can't run Xcode on an iPad, you can't run Final Cut Pro X on an iPad, you can't run the Mac OS versions of Adobe Premiere Photoshop Illustrator, etc on an iPad. And You can't download apps from the web. You Must go through Apple's centralized app distribution model by using the Apple App Store. Unlike With the Mac experience, where you can side load apps from the web, worry free
