Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Plus Review: 6 Months Later

* Galaxy Tab S8, US 615. Both are Wifi only, 128GB storage. My usage isn't that demanding - browsing, watching media, light casual games.

 - Performance was as expected for the most part with a few hiccups *see cons below*. It was snappy, fluid, and responsive. - The high point is the screen. The screen is beautiful

 So if you are a reader and want to hold it like a book vertically, you stand a chance of discomfort trying to hold it in portrait mode. - While the snapdragon chip that is included in this tablet should be more than enough to do most tasks, the few programs I used that streamed games and or shows seem to always have a micro stutter, and I spent most of the time having this trying to fix the problem and find out which of Samsungs programs are bogging the tablet down. I never found it out. Hence why I returned it

 I also had a Bluetooth mouse that worked right away when connected. There is an option called "Dex" that loads a desktop environment which makes the tablet seem very much like a PC, and it did it well. - Performance was as expected for the most part with a few hiccups *see cons below*.  - The high point is the screen. The screen is beautiful. The Colors Pop. The sharpness is outstanding

 So that's okay. It's not super great. I have had it at 120 Hertz mode when doing that because gee, they give it to you and you want to use it, right? And it is nicer not to see as much smearing when you're scrolling and all that sort of thing. So an Energizer bunny for me, this has not been so far and I would expect the 5G model to maybe be even a little less on battery life because 5G is typically a bit of a battery hog

 Speaking of battery life, you can see the battery capacity for the three Tab S8 models on screen right now. I've been getting about seven to eight hours with brightness set to about 50% or so, which is probably about 200 nits I would say, and doing a mix of productivity work, streaming some videos, snapping a few photos, but not really a lot in that department. So that's okay. It's not super great

 It handles every game like a champ 🏆 💪.  Xbox game pass works flawlessly. Plays Halo infinite Fortnite Battle field 5,4 Requires a xbox controller.  I also play call of duty mobile with a controller as without it is a bit harder since it's a big tablet
