 The value is also great -- his father reported that they're way better goggles than the ones he's been using, which cost twice as much! If you're looking for high performance sport gear, these may not quite be what you're looking for... but for the average hobby skier or snowboarder, they're great

My old goggles were from Anon and had accompanied me for 2 seasons. They didn't fog up, but the silver tint of the outer lens got scraped unavoidably, which led to compromised vision so they are not considered safe any more. So ideally I would be purchasing a new pair, without a layer of tint on the outer, but just a brown base hue, like the ones my husband has from Giro, which got a few scratches on the lens after 3 seasons of use but still clear enough for action.

My memo would be, for a longer product life span, try not to rub the outer lens, especially when it's wet, unless you really have to.

(Updated) The problem with these goggles is the material of the inner lens. The acetate is a thin piece of plastic that easily gets smeared, scratched and hazy. Once that happens the dual lens concept is pointless. Yes, they are very less likely to get foggy, but vision will be compromised

It would be better if the inside lens were also made of polycarbonate as the outer lens. These goggles are also uncomfortable over time because the gasket fits too close around the eye sockets

 Voids and gaps allow wind and dust to get into them. If you sweat a lot or wear them in the rain and are really hot, there can be some fogging and worse, the perspiration or the rain water can get between those lenses and stay stuck there, sloshing around. The inner acetate "lens" (actually just a hard plastic sheet) has to be removed with the water being pressed out. This can cause scratching on the acetate and keep the glasses hazy
