Anker Soundcore Motion+ vs SOUNDBOKS Go

Brought the anker soundcore motion+ based on reviews to replace my ancient bose soundlink mini that died. The sound, even though newer bluetooth standard is no way near the rich attractive sound of the bose and I'm now sending it back. Im just shocked that the reviews were misleading or that after all these years the soundlink still sounds so good and size so compact.

This Soundcore Motion Plus has an even more solid bass and clear treble and is a perfect size for our small living room. The bass boost is solid and with 30W of power should fill most spaces with thundering volume. Two devices can be linked for a true stereo effect, but for a small room the sound experience with a single unit is excellent The device is water and splash resistant for outdoor use, but gives piece of mind for use in my living room where spills from cats and grandkids are possible or if I wanted to take it to the kitchen. It would also be perfect for use at your cabin or on your deck or patio

Great sound but I would not consider this portable. if you have to lug this from your car to the beach you will be working out a little bit.

Afraid that this junction may fail at some point due to a wrong connection! This is a very weak point in my estimation for this speaker, being that it has to be charged often. So overall, the SB GO is a cool speaker by design. No, it does not get as loud as the Soundboks 2 as they claim and it doesn't have near the bass capability or sound quality. And these two speakers are the same price, BTW. So unless you absolutely have to have a smaller cabinet size, pass on the Go and maybe opt for the Soundboks 3, which is currently on sale for $899
