Anker Soundcore Motion+ vs Sony SRS-XB23

Brought the anker soundcore motion+ based on reviews to replace my ancient bose soundlink mini that died. The sound, even though newer bluetooth standard is no way near the rich attractive sound of the bose and I'm now sending it back. Im just shocked that the reviews were misleading or that after all these years the soundlink still sounds so good and size so compact.

Having done this, it seemed as though having both phones connected by blutooth conflicted with the connection anywhere in the house. Though we were playing music from the iPhone, it seemed that my Android connection made the Sony device jump from the phone playing music to my phone which was not. The music would cut out until I went into my Android phone and turned the BluTooth connection off, so you have to do this manually eny time you want to use it. Perhaps that's typical of these devices

This Soundcore Motion Plus has an even more solid bass and clear treble and is a perfect size for our small living room. The bass boost is solid and with 30W of power should fill most spaces with thundering volume. Two devices can be linked for a true stereo effect, but for a small room the sound experience with a single unit is excellent The device is water and splash resistant for outdoor use, but gives piece of mind for use in my living room where spills from cats and grandkids are possible or if I wanted to take it to the kitchen. It would also be perfect for use at your cabin or on your deck or patio

Anker Soundcore Motion Boom for best bang for your buck. It's quite amazing the deep bass they get from this little speaker.

For the price point, these speakers hit the spot. Excellent bass for its size and fills a room with music. I wouldnt take it outside too much as the sound might not be enough but for an apartment or bedroom, it’s perfect.

you read that right but only when cranked to uncomfortable levels and bass heavy music. There are a couple possible reasons for this. I could be asking for the passive radiators to do too much (I have two EQs, after all)

I've narrowed it down to 3 similarly priced (\~$100-130) options: SoundLink Color II, JBL Charge 3, or Sony SRS-XB33. Which would you recommend?

Afraid that this junction may fail at some point due to a wrong connection! This is a very weak point in my estimation for this speaker, being that it has to be charged often. Comparing the iPhone charging port to this? The Soundcore, is inferior. Could of done better in design, especially for people who wear glasses?

And even better if the buttons, especially the power button, are easy to see and proud.

With the default EQ setting, these were absolutely horrible sounding. By cutting some mids, I was able to get a decent sound (posted a picture of my settings) but still a bit boxy. The problem is, in stereo mode, only the master speaker changes with the EQ. This led to a lot of fiddling with connecting and disconnecting the individual speakers to try to get each one EQ’d the same as the other

I'm not a big fan of the Sony XB23. I think the Anker would be the better choice here but its still not great. Check [THIS DEAL]([URL REMOVED] to see if you can still get the Sony XB33 for $62.

This new 30 watt Soundcore+ is plenty loud even when climbing up a 6% grade with 40,000 pounds cargo and the huge engine is screaming and the giant fan is blasting like a turboprop at takeoff. I mistakenly bought an Oontz unit with 24 watts and it does not connect easily nor provide adequate clarity or volume, the Anker Soundcore connects effortlessly. Easy automatic reconnect even after my audio book is interrupted by a phone call. I've left the speaker on all night while I sleep and there's plenty of juice left for NPR news with coffee at 4 AM without plugging in the USB

ITS A PARTY!!!!!! I have had my share of speakers but this one here?!?! WOW is all I have to say. The volume on this device is amazing. So clear and loud. You may use this on the beach or poolside
