Anker Soundcore Motion+ vs Sonos Roam

Brought the anker soundcore motion+ based on reviews to replace my ancient bose soundlink mini that died. The sound, even though newer bluetooth standard is no way near the rich attractive sound of the bose and I'm now sending it back. Im just shocked that the reviews were misleading or that after all these years the soundlink still sounds so good and size so compact.

I do enjoy taking it in and out of house and having my music all playing at once but the sound is weak. If you do not own any Sonos products and just want a portable Bluetooth speaker I would def pass on this item.

This Soundcore Motion Plus has an even more solid bass and clear treble and is a perfect size for our small living room. The bass boost is solid and with 30W of power should fill most spaces with thundering volume. This does require the use of the Sonos app. While the app is pretty streamlined for the most part, I feel that they can definitely make it better. To use it, you must have a Sonos account. After setting that up, you can add the Roam as a device and set it up to hook up to your wifi network

Afraid that this junction may fail at some point due to a wrong connection! This is a very weak point in my estimation for this speaker, being that it has to be charged often. Comparing the iPhone charging port to this? The Soundcore, is inferior. Could of done better in design, especially for people who wear glasses?

With the default EQ setting, these were absolutely horrible sounding. By cutting some mids, I was able to get a decent sound (posted a picture of my settings) but still a bit boxy.
