I am a fan of bass myself, and in combination with the elaborate complexity of percussive dimensions, the articulate and winding avenues of masterful bass rhythms are second to none. Still, the bass prominence is an obvious design choice for the XB43, and fortunately is executed well. Just know that should nearby (likely apartment situated) neighbors be a concern of yours, you'll not reap the full glory of this speaker without disturbing them.

I want to get a solid, loud and portable Bluetooth Speaker, I often read that the Motion Boom is pretty the best and loudest speaker in the price range.

I had my pixel buds 2 for a year and they've been a nightmare to deal with, cant make calls outside, they randomly disconnect and I gotta factory reset to get them to re-pair, to the point where I'm doing weekly factory resets to get them to work.

And there you go. And you can go right there. You also have a USB cable in there as well. Alright, so the speaker is also a Bluetooth 5

(For those who want to name the Anker Soundcore Motion+ or Motion Boom, JBL Charge, the Sony XB43 or similar items, these are great but maybe a bit to big and thus less portable).

Just be aware of this depending on your uses, if you plan on having it more stationary make sure it will fit.

We like the Sony SRS-XB12 for $20 less than the Flare 2, as well as the less portable, but more sonically impressive Ikea Sonos Symfonisk WiFi Bookshelf Speaker for $100. Or, if you're willing to spend even more, the JBL Charge 4 delivers significantly more power in a waterproof design for $180. For $80, however, the Flare 2 definitely offers plenty.

I don’t know if this is the right place to pose this question but I just got my first pair of bluetooth truewireless earbuds. They’re these Anker Soundcore Lifedot 2 things my friend sent me over Amazon. They look like they might be refurbished from context clues on the box, but other than that they don’t seem to have anything cosmetically wrong with them, however when I pair them the right earbud works works perfectly but the left one cuts in and out constantly and barely works at all and I’ve tried all the recommended tricks such as restarting all the devices, charging the earbuds in the case for awhile, forgetting the devices and repairing, resetting the earbuds, doing it all in different combinations and orders and nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any new advice or do I just have broken buds?

I've reviewed three $100 Anker Soundcore portable Bluetooth speakers in the last year or so and they've all been quite good for that price. The Motion Plus is arguably the best-sounding compact Bluetooth for speaker for $100 while the Rave Neo, which appears to have been replaced by the Trance Go, works well for outdoor listening.
