 It is not that dark On me. It really isn't let me swatch this for you guys It really isn't that dark it literally looks like ash on my hand like I went into a fire pit picked up and wiped ash on my hand. So cypress umber is not that dark and I I feel like this does not work for women of color at all and I'm just severely disappointed in this and When I would try to make looks with it I feel like I can only get the same looks over and over again like I expect to be able to Do different looks from one palette Like once like one palette I should be able to take a palette and be able to do a multiple different looks instead of the Same look over and over again And when I would try to build up these colors, they would blend away Like away away like in my opinion, that's not good when it comes to eyeshadows Especially on dark skin. It should be able to be built up very very well and should be able to be seen be able to be seen so in my opinion I would rate this probably As like what I think I would rate this at least a four out of ten No, three or four out of ten So this is going to go back to alta on tuesday I know some of you will not be happy with me because I don't like the palette You know people don't like everything

 I enjoy the shade very much And then the pink red shades are gorgeous and they're so pretty The shimmer shades those are okay They're not the most pigmented and best shimmer shades in my opinion I Have had better like I love my favorite shimmer shades. I love the makeup geek Boiled shadows. I love those. Those are my favorite as well as some of the other Anastasia shades like Metallic intense gaze chic and pink champagne

 So you get like a Kind of fluffy Shader brush as well as like a super duper super fluffy blending brush. I Like these brushes a lot. I use them a lot. I have one Previously from the shadow couture palette As you can see mine's falling apart When I really love something it's usually falling apart or has been broken and repressed and it's still falling apart Um, but yeah, I do love the brush

 This is the first time she's done 14. I think personally that the price is way way way too high For this palette. I feel like she should have kept it between a 30 to 35 dollar range like she has for all of her past Palettes, that's what I personally think if you think it's on par That's cool.  So I'm just gonna go through some basic information you guys need to know about the palette

 So the Modern Renaissance palette retails for 42 dollars

 This is the most expensive of all her palettes so far and it is permanent

 So you can get this at any time of the year

 It's not limited edition. So you don't have to worry if you

 Haven't picked it up yet. Normally Anastasia's palettes range from 28 to 35 dollars. I

 Have a few of her other palettes. She's released the Tamanna palette

 the artist palette the Amrezy palette and the shadow couture

 This is what the inside of the palette looks like. Whoops. I just dropped the brush

 Most eye shadow she's ever included in the palette. She usually has had

 10 to 12 eyeshadows in a palette. This is the first time she's done 14. I

 For this palette. I feel like she should have kept it between a 30 to 35 dollar range like she has

 Palettes, that's what I personally think if you think it's on par

 That's cool. And then it also comes with a dual ended brush. So you get like a

 And then the pink red shades are gorgeous and they're so pretty

 They're not the most pigmented and best shimmer shades in my opinion I

 Have had better like I love my favorite shimmer shades. I love the makeup geek

 Boiled shadows. I love those. Those are my favorite as well as some of the other

 So I was very very let down with these two shimmer shades the lighter

 those pull extremely extremely extremely ashy on me I

 They they just look too ashy for dark skin

 Going back to the red shades even though they're beautiful

 They're not as deep and as intense as they should be

 Considering that they stated this would work for all skin tones

 No, I feel like this is geared mostly towards fair to me of tan

 Not as rich as they need to be like I said before

 When I would try to build color they would blend away or blend into my skin and I did not like that

 Impressed with it when I first saw promo pictures

 You guys requested that I pick this up and try it so I'm doing this for you guys

 In reality, I'm not a fan of this palette I feel like they really only I

 Feel like they really only geared it towards lighter skin tones if it was
