It is my first pair of AE Park Avenue. I had to return the first one since it came with a bulge around the mouth. Disappointed, but not a big surprise since I heard a lot of quality control issue at AE lately from other reviewers. The second one came a few days later, and didn't have an issue with shoe quality

6 (length) and I therefore ordered number 9.5 which resulted too big (length-wise). I guess a 9 would probably be the right size but I haven't had the chance to order it yet.  I give this shoe 3 stars because of the fit issue

Shoe fit: too big

This shoe really hits a sweet spot in terms of price and quality, particularly when you can find it on sale. They look great, too. I work in a very casual environment and have always owned cheap dress shoes for the times when I do need to dress up, but now I'm finding excuses to wear my black Park Avenues regularly. They're comfortable enough to do so

 I'm normally a 10 D/E in dress shoes and a 10.5-11 in tennis shoes, but I wear an 8.5 3E in the Park Avenue. It took me three or four rounds of trying shoes on to find what fits

 A 9 3E would have worked, but I prefer a more snug fit initially knowing that the footbed will break in. If you have a wide foot and/or a high instep, sizing will probably be a challenge.
