The hi-hat is not as responsive as I would like, but it’s ok. If you purchase this set, please be aware that you are probably going to need to drop another $350 or so to get where you want to be. 1) this set does NOT come with a seat, so unless you have something lying around to sit on, you’ll need to drop another $50 or more on a seat. 2) My only major complaint with this set is that the internal sound (if you want to call it that) is abysmal! I hooked up my studio-quality headphones and turned the volume all the way up and can still barely hear, which defeats the purpose of my purchase, because I live in an apartment

this is a damn good set and it is lasting just fine. I absolutely recommend this drum kit. You won't be disappointed

Nothing mind blowing. We have only had it for a few weeks but so far a solid kit. Pedals are not the greatest quality but function. We have a better bass pedal and will likely change it eventually but for now it works

Did some ebay research and found an expansion drum stand kit with all the parts I would need for about $65. Put it back together perpendicular and parallel, all heights measured equally and now my friends it is fully customized. Took a little work but I am happy about the final project. Long story short I am extremely satisfied at this point
