 Okay, I got a pretty decent storm coming, so we're going to have to hurry it up a little bit here, but this is that Stanley Fatmax, and I'm not going any close range, this is 92 meters away, and I really like this, this is a good 2000 movement spotlight from Walmart. Stanley Fatmax, it's hard to beat this thing, it's a bigger light, but I want to compare it to the L17. The Fatmax and the L17, the L17 outdoes it, I think, oh yeah, it outdoes it, Fatmax is on the right, L17 is on the left, that little tiny flashlight, pretty cool, you can see in the background I got a storm going, that's why we got to hurry, and I'm going to put it way up there over 300 meters away, and the wind's blowing like crazy, so hopefully you'll be able to hear me, but look at that, 300 meter shot on turbo, now people have asked, I've seen on forums and that, this is high, and you're looking at pushing up to 300 meters, it's doing an outstanding job, that tree at 92 easily, but I would say, let's get this in the middle up here, that hillside up there is 250 plus, and at the top of the hill is upwards of 300, and just on high it's doing it, double click, quite simply, but look at that, it said, go back to high, make sure I was high, but high is a very, very usable light, if people are wondering, because it's a big difference between high and turbo, and we're going to move over a little farther to this hillside there, that tree, there's turbo, is this thing cool or what, that is a bean, what I want to do is go down the road and shine it back at the house, just to give you an idea, let's do one more comparison with that FATMAX, there's the FATMAX on turbo, and there's the L17 on turbo, cool or what, alright, let's go down the road, check that out, a lot of lightning, coming, and here we are by the house, we're looking at the house probably about 40, 50 meters back, and there's turbo on this thing, shining down, look at that, that row of pines, wall of pines, lights them things right up on turbo, that is so impressive, and we're going to step back into high mode, for anybody that's interested, just high alone, real long battery life, shooting up to that wall, very usable, there's no questions about is high a usable light, low, mediums even, very usable, high, turnipo, this is a thrower, okay, you don't have to worry about that, you can use it close range, just on low alone, does work quite well, I've used it at my foundry more than once on low, and it does a good job, so what I'm going to do now is drive, or go down the road and shine back at the house, the storm is coming, so we've got to hurry up, and there we are, pretty shining, I love that, light where you want it, Acebeam L17, light isn't for everybody, but as far as I'm concerned, usefulness, it's a useful flashlight, just on low, I use it at work, you can inspect a lot of stuff, you're putting a beam at a fairly direct spot, but that's good and bad, I think it's more good than bad, pretty awesome flashlight by Acebeam, incredible thrower for the size, check that link out down below for this flashlight if you're interested in, so there you go, the Acebeam L17, a wicked thrower out of a small form factor flashlight, hard to beat, there you go, until next time.

 Now on turbo, I only got about three minutes out of it, maybe a little more, if you double click, you're in the turbo, and this thing is a rocket. Because of lockout function, I think if you hold it on for three seconds, it's going to flash, now it's locked out, no matter what you do, it won't go on, then you got to hold it again for five seconds. This is a wicked, well-made flashlight, very small, the size of a typical 18650, the head's just a little bit bigger, but you could literally still put this in a loose-fitting pants pockets in the back, or you just run your supplied belt clip, and it does come with O-rings and a lanyard, your battery warning, Acebeam's great warranty, the user manual, belt clip, you have to get the battery. So what we're going to do is take this thing outside and get some real good beam shots, I think you'll be impressed with it, and eventually I'm going to end up comparing this to the Thrunite Catapult V6, Acebeam's W10, because I'm seeing people writing on there that this is a LEP killer, I really don't think so, but we're going to compare it to that, them two other two lights, and that'll be for a separate video

 They rate this as the longest, farthest-throwing single 18650 battery flashlight on the market. This is running an Osram emitter. You see these TIR optics that it has, and it helps direct that beam, punch it out real far. And if you're familiar with the E10, look at here, identical, except this doesn't throw near as far

 What ends up happening though, this kind of this, it got hot quick, but it stayed there. Whereas this, if you just run it on turbo, just leave it. You have to turn it down around so it'll just keep getting hotter and hotter and hotter and hotter. So this got up to temp quicker, but it stayed there and it was okay

 Maybe some cutouts here so that it makes it easier for you to just click here instead of having to reach all the way to get a good click on it. But if you do this cigar style, which is actually maybe more comfortable in this particular flashlight, it's fine. But yeah, I still would like maybe the way this has, you know, those two side cutouts. And a lot of the flashlights have that style too

 That's the Tree of Life or Death, you know, whichever one you want. This park is too small for this, we need a bigger park. So we're here at the medium size park with the Acebeam L17. That is low mode, let's see, let's find a little target

 It's my first TIR flashlight. I'm not sure if it's the lens, you know, the thick glass. You know how when you were a kid you got a magnifying glass and you put it in the sun, you could start a fire? I'm not sure if something like that is going on where that thick lens, you know, with that narrow beam shining right through it that generates heat or if it's the Osram because this is also an Osram. This is an Osram P9

 And there are a few models that are even smaller and still have almost the same throw, but they are damn expensive and are closer to laser rather to flashlight.  It might cost way much for the new model of the respectable brand and with its moderate size, it has a throw that would require a significantly larger head size and or significantly greater brightness. And model with the same brightness and size have so much less throw comparing to L17. In general, this flashlight is specific one, but it does what it's supposed to do to shine extremely far. And if you want to shine far and don't want to carry something big, L17 is exactly what you need

 You just have to buy the light. You can even just go with a head and throw this onto a Surefire body if you wanted to. I went with the whole body and minus the tail cap, I just got one of these tail caps from Surefire. But I really like the fact that you can still use all of your stuff that you probably already have or the stuff that most companies already make mounts and accessories for

 So I don't just throw certain things on this just to do it. This is this is the gun I built specifically out of products that I've tested that I absolutely 100 percent trust with my life. So I do trust my life with this light and I think it is a very solid choice. This is something you guys are looking for

 This is a really good middle ground light for them. And I've been really happy with it for both those things because this is my primary rifle and I use this for home defense. I have this with me most of the time. So I like having a light that can kind of do best of both worlds

 But they did not send this to me. I did spend my own money on this product. Now let's get into the full review. So with a light like this from a company like ModLite, I've heard a lot of good things

 Now that's kind of important on a rifle, because you really do want on a dedicated rifle, you wanna be able to throw that beam far enough to see at night where you might need to hit. So that could be up to a couple hundred yards, but you also want enough spill to light the room. So this is pretty cool. Definitely gonna put this on my rifle and have some stuff

 I really think this light is probably the highest quality. It's very light. Doesn't add a bunch of weight to your defensive rifle. Love the fact that you can get it with different tail clips and stuff like that

 Now one thing I will note is your experience in this case may differ, but whenever I got these, the first I got them, the first night I threw them on this charger, and it said that they were pretty much dead. So I'll try to throw in a picture so you can kind of get a better visual, but whenever you put batteries in here, throw a battery in here, whenever it's plugged in it'll light up and it'll tell you when it starts to charge.  Those of you that aren't aware, candela and lumens, I just spoke about briefly. Quick explanation. Basically broke down the two numbers, the two classifications for flashlights and how bright they are. Lumens is the total output of a flashlight, whereas candela is how intense a flashlight beam is

 They offer this version, like it says, the PLH V2. Hopefully it's focused here. You can see that, but the PLH V2, sort of their more general purpose light. They offer the OKW, which is less lumens, but more candela than this
