ZSA Moonlander

I do love this keyboard. It's a fantastic keyboard.

Switching around the default ones and putting in the arrow keys was as easy as you would expect. I have not travelled yet with my Moonlander because of the plague, but will next year when things open up. The keyboard folds up nicely and the simple case seems like it will do a good job.

I lump the ZSA Moonlander in that category, though the thumb clusters are a bit better IMHO. I would say the Maltron, Kinessis Advantage, and a dactyl-manuform would be the "best of the best"…but in what order depends on the individual. Everything after that comes down to your wish list, severity of RSI, personal quirks, budget, etc.

I highly recommend the ZSA Moonlander, it should check all of your boxes:. 0) A+ customer service and warranty.

I use ZSA Moonlander with Kailh Box White switches for several months. I'm happy with it.

[Kinesis](https://kinesis-ergo.com/) makes some nice, simple, and relatively good keyboards. My RSI didn't start *really* going away until I invested in a ZSA Moonlander. Keyboards with the QMK firmware will let you add mouse keys, which was a huge deal to me. The Moonlander was perfect for my needs.

Might not be what you're looking for, but at least now you know these kind of keyboards exist as well

If your budget was around $300, I'd recommend getting ZSA moonlander (if you type on the go) or Kinesis Advantage2 or Ergodox EZ (if the keyboard will be stationary). But their key placement is intended to be ergonomic (columnar staggered) and may take a few days to get used to.
