Overall, this is a pretty amazing solution for podcasters, videographers, journalists, and basically any creator that's on the field.

A good mic is better than a good camera honestly. You can have 8k video, but if you don't have audio that you can understand, it is kind of pointless. If you want the BEST video on a budget, I would get the following (from B&H, Adorama, or KEH, used if you can find ones that are in good working order and have the lav mic and recorder). Either a Zoom F2 or Tascam DR-10L for a mic (both are WONDERFUL).

The Zoom F2 offers 32 bit float, which is nice, but the lav that comes with it is meh - kinda harsh and brassy. The build is a bit lightweight too. A Tascam DR-10L will give you a lot more durability and the mic that it comes with is acceptable.

Look into Zoom F2 because it has 32-bit float recording which means you don't need to set the gain level and won't have any problems with clipping unless you set off a grenade nearby

My only complaint is the price. There is no way this is worth the money. Great product but with new options coming on the market Zoom need to take a look at their pricing. This is the only Zoom product I have regretted spending money on.
