Update: the Excitrus 65W is actually good -- and insanely cheap right now

Now that's good news. Really, really good. With a thickness of just 19mm and a weight of 87.5g, currently I consider this the best 65W charger. When you consider the Mu One / RavPower 45W was 79.5g and 14mm/15.5mm thick, this is a truly worthy successor.

But still you should mostly keep to GaN for weight reasons, the ZMI 65W is a rare non-GaN charger which is just as lightweight. I can't emphasize enough: only a teardown review from a reputable source is a review you should rely on. The "I plugged in and it works" and the "I plugged it in _dozens_ of times and _still_ nothing is on fire" reviews are not particularly useful (by themselves, they might supply additional info).

I ordered one of these for my x220, is it too good to be true?

That will only work from a USB-C PD power source. Watch out for power banks, typically only one of the ports will be PD out and some of them are only PD to charge the bank itself but not output to devices. The way it works is it has a little chip that asks the power supply for different voltages and amps depending on the device. I recommend a ZMI 65w wall charger you can get from a popular online retailer.
