Can anyone identify this Sabian hat and its Zildjian equivalent. It came with a Pearl Export kit. Not familiar with Sabians so any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

In terms of price, the closest Zildjian equivalent would be their S series, but those are b12 alloy and are going to sound a lot more bright. The Sabian XSR’s are b20 alloy, thus not as clangy. They’re highest end intermediate before getting into the lower end professional cymbals serieslike the Zildjian A/A Custom and Sabian AA/AAX.

Great cymbals with modern

Great cymbals with modern, bright tones. Good feel as well. However there's are very modern and bright vs the older a series and is something to be aware of. Too modern for my taste, will be sticking with k's for now.

I have a month old Yamaha Stage Custom kit and Zildjian A-custom Thomann ltd. cymbal kit. The bass drum and the cymbals sound terrible. The room I play in has very bad acoustics but the tuning should be good. The cymbals produce a metal clangy sound and the hi-hat sounds dead when closed.

4 Tops because the bell tone on the ride is kinda weak sauce

I love the other cymbals but the ride needs a deeper bell tone. It just doesn't cut through like I'd like it to. It's okay but not awesome.
