Zenith Chronomaster Sport

That said, I was wearing this watch yesterday when the Zenith Chronomaster Sport was released. Call that serendipity or whatever, but I love the new Zenith. I feel like this was the design choice that Rolex missed when they moved on to the Zenith Daytona in the late 80s. And now, Zenith has a smash hit on their hands in the making.

I just got the brand new Zenith Chronomaster Sport and could not be happier with it! In my opinion Zenith really knocked this watch out of the park.

My Tudors, Omegas, and Rolexes all have much better clasps. Other than that, the Chronomaster Sport is a pretty damn fine watch. The hours markers are much nicer than that on my previous Daytona, but that would be down to preference. The ones on the Zenith are multifaceted with sharp edges, so they catch and reflect the light.

On the other hand, the movement is not particularly beautiful, and the bracelet’s clasp is simply terrible and Omega clearly wins in those areas. The blue dial is also more wearable, perhaps. For the future I plan a chronograph, but the list of potential candidates is LONG. I like the Zenith Chronomaster Sport but I am not willing to pay MSRP for it just yet.

Since the Chronomaster Sport was released, I have loved it and really wanted to own it. I’ve been extremely lucky this year with hard work paying off to give me more disposable income, so I made the purchase a few days ago. Couldn’t be happier with the watch - yes the clasp is a bit meh as many have said before, but the overall feel, quality and look of the case and dial is perfect for me. Love the case back too.

I went to my local AD to pick up a watch that I sent for service. Out of curiosity, I asked if they have the new zenith which they do. However, it's just an exhibition copy, but they take pre-orders for late March / April delivery. Just want to share my quick thoughts on the new Zenith Chronomaster Sport.

I love this version for the offsetting dial colors giving it a bit more personality. The racing heritage of the brand is key in this piece’s attractiveness as well!

I am back with another photo of my newly acquired Zenith Chronomaster sport. Been a couple of weeks since I got this beauty and this has never left my wrist- even though I was practically home most of the time. I have a few watches but none as handsome as this one. Even though there was initial apprehension because of my 6.5 inch wrist, the lug to lug size makes this such a snug fit on the wrist.

But overall - very well done. I'd look to get rid of the Hublot and one of the IWCs for a Grand Seiko White Birch and a Zenith Chronomaster Sport.
