 We have individual speaker mutes and solo function, and we've got the possibility of an insert on each monitor output, perhaps for an EQ, to compensate for the room acoustics. On the far right, we have a patch for the surround meter output. This can send a monitor signal to an external metering device without being affected by the monitor level, dim, and mute controls. We even have a separate surround cue output, so you could feasibly use an additional set of speakers for this

 Then a normal cue button can be used for stereo listening, and the function key for the surround cue. Finally, a reminder about a couple of other useful features. Also in the setup menu, we can access the GPI in and out configuration for external controls, and we have a fader start system with up to eight different tallies, and note the different upstroke and downstroke options. Then back to input channels, and when you have a stereo pair, perhaps for video playback, there's a quick selection to fix the pan in case you suddenly find the input is left only or right only, or needs to become mono
