  But, every so often, something that needs a spatula that's made of solid steel with a sharper edge is needed. This is that spatula.  It carries heavy things, it scrapes incredibly well, and you can use it as a spatula.  I took one star off because it cannot be the primary spatula for me, as I need something that has flex, finesse, and even a second spatula for non-stick

It does the job

Mine is rattles a bit I suppose due to the rivets but aside from that the steel doesn't flex one bit at all and is a good weight. The grain comes up a little when the handle gets wet so but it doesn't bother me. If you want a perfectly smooth sanded finish then a natural wooden handle is not what you want so keep that in mind.

It's funny because I never saw myself as being excited about a spatula and leaving a review for one. This is one of those buys that you didn't know were essential until after you bought one. I cook almost exclusively in cast iron pans, and have been using plastic and silicone spatulas. Well no more! This spatula is pretty heavy compared to silicone and plastic ones, which is great for times you need to press or flatten when cooking

 This also is a great reflection of its sturdiness because it doesn't have "give". Unbeatable Price for the Value!

  The other thing that is great about this is the edges a nice and beveled to a nice "sharp" edge. Not sharp enough to slice anything, but great at getting underneath that crust on some burger patties and flipping a beautiful smash burger.  I wouldn't hesitate to buy several more of these in the future. Winco, you're winning me over

Sometimes I am a bit leery of the Winco kitchen products because I know that you can get what you pay for, but I was legitimately surprised by the quality of this spatula when I received it. The metal is nice and thick and sturdy, so it won't bend at all, which is what I wanted. I planned on using this to make smash burgers, and it worked beautifully! I took a 2nd sturdy item on top of the spatula to help me smash down with good force. You could just use the spatula by itself, but it'l be a lot harder and you won't get the kind of leverage that you would with using a 2nd hand+dowel

Stop debating and just buy this one
