They'll keep your foot from getting blisters and enhance the fit of your boots and generally be worth the extra investment.

Not for tall people. XL socks too short, cuff at top dug into calf.

Essentially NO Padding

Fits as expected, very good quality, but don't wear these or any other wool/natural material sock if you plan on hiking long distance. Just hiked 16 miles up 4500 ft elevation change, and blistered with these socks. My fault, as one should never try anything new on a long hike like this. Synthetics should always be used, as I've learned the hard way

Nice and snug warm socks washed good and the Aizen adult couldn't use them I have to give them to my kids so they love them they didn't care they they figure they going to the boots and they would high enough to keep warm so they love them
