The WE Banter and Civivi Baby Banter supports Ben Petersen, Elijah Isham has several designs through WE/Civivi, etc. I don't like the CCP any more than the next guy but I have no issue with the ordinary people in the companies that make them and from what I've heard Reate and WE/Civivi are composed of good people doing good work. Also, knives are probably your smallest contribution to the CCP (considering phones, car parts, raw materials, etc) and a decent contribution to good people's livelyhood.

When I first got it I absolutely fell in love. It instantly became my EDC and originally the action was just beautiful but then after a few hard open flicks (And i admit, i thumb flick my knives maybe too aggressively) it developed a bit of blade play where the lock doesn't completely make contact. ...

Bugout has the amazing axis lock and is a great design. Also check out the WE Banter, I've heard only great things about this knife.

The elementum is a great overall knife that gets tons of praise on here. Civivi Odium and WE Baby Banter are both great knives on the smaller side that I can also recommend.

Second one is WE Knife Banter. Great design, great steel (s35v, but unknow heat treatment), simpler mechanism (for me, the simpler the better).

This is a great sturdy little knife, great ergonomics and good blade steel in s35vn blade steel, also drop shuts with a small flick of the wrist. Great deployment too absolutely flies out with ease.
