Waves Tune

Vocal Rider, RBass, H-delay, and J37. However, one I haven’t seen in here yet is Waves Tune, and I honestly feel it does a better job than Melodyne in a lot of situations.

I am surprised nobody has mentioned Waves Tune yet. It's an excellent plugin that combines a lot of the functionality of Melodyne and Antares

However, Waves Tune Real-Time has no latency... Scheps Omni Channel has no latency. Some plugins introduce latency, some don't.

I can always tell when Melodyne is in a mix. I prefer Waves Tune or audiowarp in Cubase as they are usually more transparent

I use Waves Tune because I have it, but I can't recommend it. For one, you're forced to work in a tiny window. It's overdue for a UI overhaul. Secondly, it's not easy to understand how to use it properly ...

Pitch II in Pro Tools if I want to correct single notes. Or Waves Tune if I need some more tubing. For creative effects Little Alterboy is cool.

Melodyne does sound better at extremes but for a natural-sounding vocal without much messing about Waves Tune is great. It is also extremely good for "painstakingly" tuning every single note if you so desire, as you can pick and choose how to treat each note as you go. I really rate it. Especially since it can be had for $29 several times a year.

I like Waves Tune because it is really quick in my workflow and works great with Pro Tools Audiosuite. I will generally use Melodyne on lead vocal, and waves on backing vocal in addition to Antares Real Time for auto-correction.
