If you don't care that it floats and only need a speaker that is IPX6, then the W King D9 might be better, depending on your uses obviously. The main difference being that it has a 3.5mm Aux input which for whatever reason some people still want. It also has a memory card slot, if you want to simply put music on a small memory card and use the speakers controls to go through your playlist, and not have it tied to your phone. It is also slightly louder than the Motion Boom, although does sound anywhere near as good when directly compared.

Save up a little more and get a W King D9 or D7. They crush anything in this price range in overall volume.

With that price range, your best (in my opinion obviously) setup would be two Soundcore Motion Booms or W King D9's. Both will sound awesome and be EXTREMELY loud, and waterproof. Two of either would cost you about $160 or less.

I have been using this box at work(in a kitchen) love the sound quality. Battery life is at least 3 days, 8 to 9 hours a day...not bad. Simple to set up. I am quite happy with it.
