Volkl Blaze 106: such a playful ski! Highly recommend for your needs, I have Mantra M6, Kendo 88's and my favorite is the Blaze 106, the ski is super easy to whip around at 186cm!

My dad has the blaze 106 and he likes them. They’re a little too smeary and playful for him but he was a ski racer. They hold their edge really well and have volkl cool 3d radius turn which is fun. The bonafide and kore are both amazing skis too.

Whatever you do, please please please don’t buy the volkl blaze. It’s a ski that is okay going uphill when touring, but on the downhill it’s absolutely awful. Volkl did some weird BS with the rocker on the tip, and it skis like a really weird Soul 7. They aren’t fun, you’re not gonna have a good time jumping, doing any form of trick, or skiing trees.

If it is a 50/50 setup, the Blaze 106 would be better for that anyway. If you don't want something stiff forget the Zero G and Backland.

I did ski Volkl Blaze 106s in CO recently and really like those - I believe they're considered pretty soft/flexible, but that was also in a few inches of powder, which is unlikely to be usual case in VT. Any advice welcome. thanks.
