 This, good readers, is the Volcom El Gortex Jacket 2019 or El Gore jacket. It's Gore-Tex at a very reasonable price point. It's two layer Gore-Tex, it's not the highest in Gore-Tex, but if you ride in areas that are wet to rainy and often and you're kind of on a budget, you can't really blow it out for the highest end three-layer Gore-Tex jackets out there. Then you have a jacket like the Volcom El Gortex and it's a great fit

 So all in all I mean you know the fit and the look of the Elgore hasn't changed much from last year just real minor tweaks. You know you're looking at just like a little diamond here a little diamond on the back. I can't remember if my Gore-Tex jacket had that last year too but let's put it to you this way if you're on a budget there's only a few options out there. There's the Burton Radial Gore-Tex jacket that we love and this and it really comes down to fit

If you're a little bigger a little wider in the shoulder you're gonna like probably like the Elgore Tex and check my specs below and if you're a little smaller in the shoulder or a little more normal size you're not as barrel chested you might like the Burton Radial better. So it really comes down to body types both offer about the same features and so you're not really getting something that's like over the top in terms of one's not over the top in terms of the other same Gore-Tex same everything just slightly different cuts for slightly different builds

Great looking jacket and awesome quality, however the sizing is horrible! I'm 5'11, 180lbs and always buy large for everything unfortunately I was swimming in this jacket so I returned it for a medium and upon receiving that it was way too small. I'm going to return the New one and go with a Burton jacket instead which is a shame because I really liked the quality and style of this Volcom jacket..

 Right here on the front you have two fleece lined pockets with hem cinch cords. Go ahead, pull those nice and tight and create a nice snug fit around that waist. Opening the jacket up, you have a goggle pocket right here. Go ahead, throw your spare goggles right in there and they'll be right on your hip while riding

Hard to beat an AK jacket. The 3L jackets are a bit lighter, but its really hard to beat this price. 5' 10" 175lb in a size M. Fits perfect, slightly tight around the bottom compared to other jackets but I dont notice it when I'm riding

 I'm right in between sizes for Burton so if you have a bit of a gut, go with a large. Love the anorak style, and the phone pouch is perfect. Hood adjustability is the best I've ever had.
