Vibram Commando

Vibram Commando Lug: Its big, it picks up rocks which scratches the floor in my lobby and gets me in trouble, but it can conquer anything. Vibram 269: Its Yeehaw pardner, decent grip, small ridges picks up the bird seed I put in my feeder and brings it indoors, but it yees my haws. Vibram 430: Its good. Very good.

The grip is okay, but it's still a little thin and hard for my tastes. Definitely a better option than Dainite though. **Vibram Commando** \- Good in most categories except it hydroplanes like crazy on smooth wet surfaces at the heel, which is somewhat surprising and disappointing.

They look pretty good and the vibram commando sole is a good touch.

Anyone know if this is a true cap toe with doubled up leather?

I now have a pair with Vibram Commando lugs and while they're good for traction, they're complete overkill for anything I use them for and negatively impact the settings I can wear the boots in. The mini lugs had stitching around the perimeter, but the Commandos appear to just be glued onto the midsole.
