I do not know exactly why Vantrue isn't on the recommended list. But, I personally would buy other brands over this one. Taking the N2 Pro as an example:. 1) I don't like the 170° wide angle, I find anything over 140° tends to distort the picture.

If you record front only, you set it to 1440P. I dual recording can record 1080P. One thing I do not like is that N2 Pro is built-in battery, after two years of use, the battery does not hold the power, which will let the time and date reset. After contacting Vantrue, they gave me a firmware to solve this problem.
