Y’all... I have never seen my skin this clear. This is day 1 vs. day 6 of my new skin care routine. ONLY 6 DAY. [shelfie]
PM: Vanicream gentle facial cleanser (60 seconds) followed by bliss clear genius 10% AHA, BHA, PHA liquid peel. Followed by Vanicream Moisturizing Cream, followed by Aquaphor. Before doing this I was using just Cerave hydrating face wash both AM and PM, A curology custom formula (4% Azelaic Acid, 4% Niacinamide, 1% Clindamycin) in the PM, followed by curology gentle moisturizer AM and PM.
Has absolutely saved my skin
I swear, I have the most sensitive skin on the planet. I've had combination skin my whole life, am acne-prone due to my sensitivities, and easily dry out with most cleansers or when the weather is harsh. I also have dealt with bouts of perioral dermatitis. This is the ONLY cleanser that has worked f...
How to Use Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser
It also won't clog your pores and it's also a fragrance free cleanser and it's also free of any other harsh chemicals which also then makes it suitable if you have a sensitive skin. Now the best way to also use this cleanser is also by applying it on wet skin and I also recommend using lukewarm water instead of cold water first of all because it feels more comfortable on the skin and second of all because it also can help you to remove the cleanser a bit better.
All time favorite for super sensitive combination adult acne prone skin!
I have tried it all and have all sorts of skin problems! Eczema, adult acne, hormonal acne, super sensitive skin that flakes in the winter and summer, combination oily patches in t-zone, and very fair tone that sunburns in an instant. I wear makeup everyday and this is the ONLY face wash that thorou...
June 23, 2021 vs July 23 2021. No bueno. 🥺 [acne]
My skincare routine was consistent, and no breakout ever for the past 2 years. I use Vanicream Cleanser, TO Lactic Acid or TO HA, Cerave Moisturizer and SPF only. But after taking the multivitamins (biotin) + getting vaccinated, it resulted to this. After the first vaccine...
[B&A] After my eczema flared I thought life was hopeless, but my derm and the uphill battle of treatment has has helped fix that.
It's also smoothing out any texture I have post eczema flares. Apply more vanicream cream. If needed on my body, apply mometasone steroid cream or triamcinoline steroid cream at a higher potency than I would use on my most extreme facial flares. I also take 26mg methotrexate weekly for my eczema and folic acid daily due to methotrexate even at low dose potentially depleting folate.
Face Clear As Day; Hydrating, Non-Stripping
After a lifetime of skin-tearing rashes and high-inflammation acne -- on my face and other dejecting places -- my dermatologist diagnosed me with "contact dermatitis" sparked by additives in skincare products, with "fragrance" or "parfum" my big nemesis. I changed everything I used to groom or scent...
[Shelfie] Trying to keep a super simple routine and focus mostly on acne control & sun protection
Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser: Also bought this last week. I love it, it may be my favorite face wash I've tried. Super gentle and doesn't dry my skin out or break me out so far, but does a good job of removing sunscreen (and makeup when I actually wear it).
[Shelfie] Current routine + bonus rejects
The first time I used it, it made me feel like I had a sunburn on my face the next day. After that I started buffering it (applying it on top of moisturizer) and only used it every three days at first. Now I’m able to use it every other day with only minor irritation. I feel like it has improved my skin texture a little bit so far and my face feels more smooth the day after I apply it.
