Take a bit to setup, but a great standing desk

I bought this as a stepping stone between my current desk and an UPLIFT V2, which based on this experience I will certainly plan to purchase in the future.

I use a smaller, manual, workbench in a space constrained work area. This has been affordable, and also combines features such as the keyboard tray and monitor mount that I might have omitted in a full desk. It also gives me the flexibility to convert another desk in the future if I further upgrade my main office.

I couldn't be happier

 I had on small shipping problem (the work surface wasn't shipped with the other parts) and a quick call to a real person who handled the issue while on the phone, and a few days later I got the final piece. Not cheap, but well worth it.

Rock Solid &amp; Quiet

This is a very heavy duty, well constructed piece that you won't be sorry you spent the money on. Yes, it's costly, but this is truly a case of "you get what you pay for". Rise and lower is super smooth and you never have to worry about things jostling out of place when it is put in motion. And it's heavy duty!! Wish I had someone else to help me put it together, but I managed on my own

 This is NOT cheap laminate. No scathes even with heavy duty use. Happy I spent the money.

I decided to get the converter desk as my chiropractor told me I should t be sitting all day for work. When it arrived I could tell that the construction is very sturdy and the instructions were very easy to follow and I got it setup very quickly. I have been using this converter for the last few weeks and the movement is very smooth and solid. The one thing I will say is that using the keyboard tray if you push down too hard it will shake and sway a little bit, but it’s not too bad so easily handled
