Are all the people who bought this really ok with this food safe product being unsealed? Packaged in an open plastic bag. That's it for the manufacturer's packaging. Then that was put in an Amazon shipping bag. Aside from the sanitary concerns, seems like a good grinder.

Grinds pepper fine, as far as I can tell over a few days, but the grinder and the wood outside just isn't good quality. Going to dish out more money for something nicer, probably a Peugeot -- if you go with wood I'd recommend something nice instead of cheap :)

This pepper mill can effectively grind your pepper, but you have to keep adjusting the nut to get the consistency you want each time. With use, the nut becomes looser and my grind "setting" becomes lost.
