Travelpro Platinum Elite 21" Expandable Spinner

I'm in the US and love my Travelpro Platinum Elite spinner. It's 21" but they make a smaller international size too. I'm a big fan, I feel like their top end stuff is very nice and much better value than other luggage brands.

Still, it can easily tuck into an overhead compartment if not overly packed and bulging out of the front pockets. If you want a lot of flair from a bright neon color or a distinctive animal print, the Platinum Elite's color options might be disappointing for you. However, if you're seeking a single piece of carry-on luggage that can handle it all, from typical business trips to foreign vacations, this is our go-to

To be transparent, I returned my luggage because I found out soft luggage is not for me, but here's why I rate them 4 stars:

1. Customer service is excellent, no hassle return policy. This is a must, because the luggage industry is very competitive

The suitcase looks awesome. I love the USB and I especially love how nicely it rolls.

The problem is the zippers. I traveled 3 times with this bag as a carry on, and all 3 trips resulted in a broken zipper. Then, when the zippers break, it's really hard to open the bag. At the end of the day, I'm...

Great quality, but I wish they made it just slightly longer so that the overfill fit better in the small jets. I have the hardest time getting it into the overhead bins on smaller jets like American eagle, etc. when it is just slightly full.

Suitcase is quality, however the metal front zippers and zipper pulls are poor quality. Simple zipper/pull upgrades would put this line of luggage above anything out there.

I am trying to replace a Crew5 that I have, thought this was the same size but it is much smaller. It is also heavier than I expected. Suitcase is great just wrong size.

Surprising amount of storage. Easy to carry. The wheels roll smoothly. Seems to be durable and high quality. I wish the battery pack came with it for the price you pay..

The spinner is wonderful but be aware the space is smaller than the pull behind version due to wheels
