I love the way the pen writes. I just wish the cap didn’t fall off while writing when it is “posted” (attached to the end of the pen). That part is quickly becoming a deal-breaker. The Tombow 505 and ultra pens are great. How’s the pencil? I feel like it would be a bit too large for most hands.

I love these Tombow pens. They are very well made and great to write with. I own quite a few. However, I'm sorry to say that this one arrived with a dent in the barrel. I probably won't return it, but it was disappointing to get such a great looking pen with a dent.

This is well below your budget but the Tombow zoom 505 is one of the best writing rollerball pens I’ve used. It’s around $50 and you can find some special finishes if that matters. They’re very sturdy and write well. Cross roller balls are also very nice.

Excellent product for the $. Well made and very comfortable to use. My only dig on the design is I wish it were a tad longer. Also, the pen seems to write fairly heavy for a 0.5 mm; which is why I rated it at 3 stars. It's closer to 0.7 than 0.5

I have the 505 Zoom in 0.5 and 0.9. I love them both. They're the pencils I use in meeting with bigwigs who use expensive pens. The Zoom fits right in.

I also love how it's short and heavy. Makes the pencil very nimble feeling when writing.

Writes smoothly, but unfortunately the ink is black despite it being listed as blue in the product description. Disappointing!
