 This was maybe 5 or 10 minutes of drip edge, and it just comes out there. Oh and now we're checking it out always kind of rotate it to get all the coffee out of that bottom thing, plug it back up, so it doesn't drip anywhere all over your kitchen and that's it. You'Ve got yourself some nice toddy cold brew that you just made pop that lid on throw that in the fridge and that's good for two weeks.  I buy the whole bean grind it myself and then trying to make it as soon as possible and also do a coarse grind when you are grinding it yourself, because it helps with the making of I'm gon na Tommy coffee and then just pour about half of Your coffee into there, so I'm not super measuring this out - that takes forever that's about okay and now we're going to do four cups of water on to that now we're going to do four cups of water onto the grounds in there and you're gon na want To pour a fly in there, you're gon na want to pour in like a kind of a circular fashion, slowly so, and this this kind of helps to not clog up that this helps to not clog up the filter, that's in there and try to wet all Of the grounds evenly now it was two cups and again with for two more cups for four cups. So what do you have that you're supposed to let it sit for like five minutes and just let it kind of steep a bit and we'll do that? Whole thing again so I'll normally oh, wait a few minutes and and goes, but while we're waiting, this has been great literally. This is all I need. I'M in a small apartment, don't even want to have a coffee maker on the on the town cup, or anything like that

 So this is the bucket I use. You can see it's a little stained inside kind of a little bit and I wash it out every time. That'S just kind of inevitable when you have that much coffee, ground soaking in a white plastic thing. So the way this works, you have your bucket, you have a little plug

 I don't have a normal mr. coffee, drip, coffee maker or anything like that. I just use the toddy stuff and it's been working great for two years, so this is kind of my little review after owning it for two years and seeing what I still think and then I'll show you a little tutorial on how to make it. If you're interested so this is it I've owned this literal exact bucket for two years, if you're not familiar with the toddy, it's a cold brew system

Amazon Treasure Truck deal today is Cuisinart Automatic Cold Brew Coffee Maker.

I purchased mainly on price and the number of positive reviews. On the plus side, the base price is competitive and the system can brew a good amount of cold-brew, low acid coffee without a lot of effort (especially if you steep the grounds twice and combine the results). I also like the that it is fairly easy to take the coffee grounds out to the garden when the process is done, especially when using a filter bag. That's the "Love" part

 So that's a nice reassurance that this is going to be nice and airtight, while it's steeping now after your liquid is all drained out, then there's just the cleanup and if you're using these paper filters, that's where it's nice, you simply lift the bag out and compost. It throw it away whatever you need to do. If you did not use those, then obviously you're gon na have a fun time trying to clean this out now. These are nice they'll filter out a little bit more than you would get with the mesh filter

Decent coffee, awful design

 Now I've used the Bertha Encore grinder to grind my beans and next I'm gon na place the rubber plug into the bottom of the toddy brewer. You don't have to jam it in there too hard for it to work, and then I'm going to pre wet one of the felt filters and add it to the bottom of the inside of the brewing container and we're going to pour in 250 mils of cold Water first before adding our first half of our coffee and this water will prevent the coffee from sticking to the bottom of the container, then pour another liter of water in a circular motion and we're trying to ensure all the grinds get wet adequately. Once. That'S done add the last of your coffee and water in the same fashion

 All we're going to need is 200 grams of coffee beans and 2 liters of water. We want to be using coarsely ground coffee. This is an important factor making sure it is this course, as you would say, used for French press or slightly more. Otherwise, it will clog up the felt filter when you're draining out your brew
