I struggle sooo hard for the perfect bag. Almost every bag that I get swallows me whole because I am tiny so I need some serious help. 

What I am looking for;

- Needs to fit: laptop, notebook, pens, phone, keys, binder, gym clothes, boots, shower items

- Needs to be black/ no crazy designs/logos

- I am 5’2 so something to fit my frame and not look huge

- Very business professional/sleek/big boss lady look

- I will use for work and the gym if possible

This bag is very nice looking and the fabric is wonderful for a backpack but I ended up returning this because it did not work for my needs. After you get a laptop in there and a few other essentials, there isn't much room for other items. I wanted this for commuting to work and I tried to fit my laptop, water bottle, wallet, sweater and lunch in there and it barely all fit. The straps are also not very wide or padded so I can't imagine this bag would be comfortable to wear for an extended period of time

The front pocket also only has a one-way zipper, which is annoying to me because if using this on one shoulder, things could fall out when unzipping the pocket. I did like that there was a pocket on the back where you can hide the straps if you just want to use the bag as a tote

I got a totepack from Burton that looked really promising online, but felt cheap/flimsy and looked bulky IRL. I would recommend passing on bags from them.

I live in Canada so preferably something I can order from Canada.

I've seen the Timbuk2 styles but wondering if there are any others? I want a professional tote bag for women that also can become a backpack. Once quarantine is over, I want a bag I can comfortably walk in. I find it painful to carry something slightly heavy on one side and a backpack works best for my commute but I would prefer it to turn into a tote when I go hang out with friends afterwards.
