These now have an overload protection. Not that I had any issues with these overheating, but this has an extra protection built into it.

Im sure product works, but in my case, i was trying ro attach it to a non thibkware dash cam and itvdidnt work., so i sent it back.

Also has a Bluetooth app so you can check its health and state of charge. Really simple to install just just need a couple of fuse taps to wire it into the fusebox, tuck the wiring under the carpet and then stick it under one of the seats or in the boot. It'll power my front and rear Thinkware F800 pro in continuous recording mode for about 2 and a half days without the engine needing to be started or much longer if I use one of the lower power consumption parking modes that the camera has.
