TCB 50s Jeans

Fit Check for new TCB slim 50s. I wanted a little big bigger in the waist for a roomier fit.

The jacket is a thrift find of a 70s/80s era LEVI type III I found literally like 2 hours before this picture.

All of the best contemporary jeans were developed years ago - Warehouse 800 and 1001, Full Count 1108, Flat Head 3005, Eternal 811, TCB 50s, PBJ XX-003, Samurai S0500xx, and so on. New "innovative" jeans are just a continuing exercise in coming up with weird crap - bizarre fabrics and awkward "tapered" fits - that come across as a self-parody of denimhead culture. Those "classic" models look better and have far more staying power than any of the flavor-of-the-week super-heavy-hyper-slubby jeans getting hyped today.

I've been loving my pair of TCB slim 50s since late march, and was washed about a month in due to mud, and they are still a super dark blue. I personally want to keep the denim as dark as I can and have it fade relatively even/uniform like you'd see in vintage fades.

I just bought my SO a pair of TCB 50s jeans, which are a reproduction of 50s levi's. They fit her great even though it's a men's pair. Would be another good brand to check out later on!

31” inseam hemmed by TCB. Too big in the waist for me.

Had my eyes on some TCB 50s for a while but yet to pull the trigger. Seems like one of the coolest denim brands about.
