I've been using a Streamlight TLR-1 on my duty weapon for about three years. I work the field in a harsh desert environment and it's held up perfectly to extreme temperatures, dust storms, and driving rain.

Nice! Great choice. First get more mags. Then get a light, Streamlight tlr’s are great. Then get the slide cut and put on an optic. Then get a threaded barrel and suppressor. But most importantly- practice, practice, practice.

I would also get a streamlight protac series over the TLR-1. The TLR is designed as a handgun light, it will work on a rifle but it’s not ideal.
