 It's got some helicopters on it some mountains some mountain goats All the cool stuff and before I show you the outerwear that I'm rocking I did get a new layering piece This is a new piece for them this year and it's this fleece Primaloft layer. This is just called the tech crew. I haven't actually gotten to try this one on so let's check this out It's kind of a new style that they're going with this year With the fleece layer. Oh, it's really cozy There we go, so this is kind of like a light blue pinch stripe we've got a cool zipper pocket up in the top for all the little things that you can hold on to and Kind of like this

 I just got this big bag, which I've been waiting for for so long because inside is my new outerwear kit for this season It's a colorway that I've been so excited to wear. So let me show you what we got So this is all coming from straight outerwear I've been rocking their gear for the last few seasons I'm gonna show you the pieces I got which I'm really excited about but let's see what else we got in this little bag Got a few new face masks Pretty sweet. I like the strafe ones. They're really long and thin so you can breathe in them good That's one of them and we got another one This one's pretty cool, too

Oh Yeah Okay, the color block looks so sick and I just love the baggie fit makes it feel like a G So sick another reason these are my favorite bibs is because they have the biggest pockets in the game They did a new pocket this year right here, but you have two That go really deep so you can fit a lot of stuff in there on both sides And you're good to go, but now check out this jacket because the jacket with the bibs looks so sick This is probably the most matching top and bottom I've ever had but it looks so good This just like the bibs is called the Nomad jacket same material same deal It's a shell so it allows you to breathe really well, and you don't get too sweaty But then you also have that option to layer underneath On those color days if you have to be a little warmer like with this fleece top that I got whoo The white and green is unreal What do you think I? Tried this kid on in the spring and since then I was so excited to get it Because this is one of the dopest kits I've ever had just like on the pants these pockets are huge You got one here and one here You can fit the biggest sandwich that you need in there But the reason I like it a lot is because when I'm out filming this is the setup that I use I have the GoPro 360 camera on this stick This is the smallest that goes and I can fit it right inside this upper pocket it's out of the way so I can move around when I'm not filming and I've really found this is the only jacket that fits this camera setup that I use when I'm shredding And just like on the pockets of the pants inside there are little smaller pockets I usually throw my phone in here, so it's not just flying around inside this big open pocket Kind of stays in one place, so that's super nice and then of course we do have the vents But something straight does different is they don't do a mesh They just have a full open pit and that's because this jacket is designed for people who are hiking around a lot So for us when we're hiking the bull we can dump that heat and not get caught up in the mesh liner I like that feature a lot, and that's the kit. I'm gonna be rocking this year I know I said this last year when I had the yellow Nomad jacket and the snow camo bibs But I think this is my new favorite colorway of any jacket and pant combo I've ever had also super pumped to be repping a local brand coolest thing about strafe Is since their headquarters is at Highlands when they go to test all these products and make changes They're testing it all in the Highlands bull hiking right up the mountain and Putting it through the conditions that we ride it in that makes their materials super technical and just perfect They have a lot of other sick options in their line So in a few weeks, I'm gonna be posting a video on their entire 2022 winter line showing you the other colors that this jacket comes in and then some of the other sick jackets and pants that they offer But thanks for checking out this new outerwear with me and I'll see you in the next video

 I do a lot of stuff on the mountain that can get me kind of sweaty. And this stuff breathes so, so well. You just stay, like, dry and comfortable in this stuff, whether it's raining or whether it's, like, 40 degrees and sunny, and you're working really hard. So I think that is extremely commendable

 And then we'll meet you back in the studio. We'll talk more about this jacket and these pants. Talk about the fit, all the features and all that stuff. But yeah, I'm quite pleased

 Good for a terrible day. I feel pretty cozy. Yeah. No such thing as bad conditions, just bad clothing

 So I think it's perfectly acceptable in the resort. I think it's fantastic stuff for anybody who's going to be doing some touring too, because how well it breathes, how well it moves, just how comfortable it is, I can certainly forget about the lack of big inside pocket for gloves or skins or stuff like that. Like, to me, there are way more benefits to this stuff for a backcountry enthusiast than there are restrictions or downsides to it. So yeah, really happy with this stuff

Strafe Nomad Jacket and Nomad Bib 3L Shell Outerwear ...

Seemed like a high quality and very well thought out jacket but the sizing did not work for me. I'm 6ft 190lbs and size Large is huge both in torso width and length, much more so than other jackets with the same freeride cut

Almost perfect

I have been able to wear this out for a handful of ski days, and all of them have been mild weather so far, but I really really like this shell.  The attention to detail is great, the style and fit is spot on and the pockets are absolutely fantastic.  I really haven't come across a feature that I wish was different in any way - the collar height and size is perfect, the zippers operate smoothly, the two-way underarm vents are huge, the thumbhole cuffs are super-comfortable. I even think the phone pocket that is integrated into the chest pocket is great!  I've had numerous compliments on the jacket and people asking about the brand and where I bought it

Great shell - Five stars

  I would also consider sizing down.  I normally wear XL shirts and jackets and bought a L.  It fits great, allows me to layer, and doesn't look puffy.
