SRAM GX Eagle AXS

I'd have to say that the Gx Eagle Access is a significant step up in performance and quality in the way it feels.

I have the gx axs on my enduro, I would highly recommend it. I’m not much of a mechanic so not having to worry about cables and tension is a huge plus. It shifts perfectly and crisp every single time. The battery lasts for a long time between charges as well.

I will first say I have all the settings such a b gap and made sure I have a completely aligned derailleur hangar, but I feel like one day I will have the derailleur set perfectly for perfect shifting, then the next day one or two of the gears will be a little off and not shift correctly. PS: it looks great with some tan wall tires. EDIT. I forgot to mention that it comes with a 3x9 drivetrain with bar end shifters. The guy I bought mine from swapped that for a 1x12 that I've since upgraded to GX AXS and I think it was a great decision.

I have the Diverge base carbon, wanted GRX, but bike came with Apex. I fell in love with 1x with SRAM Eagle before that on my trail bike. Now 1.5 yrs later I am glad I ended up with SRAM on my Diverge.

You can’t go wrong with either brand. However, I prefer SRAM AXS as it’s a truly wireless design, simple to install, and you can go 1x or 2x.

At $600 I won't say it's the "best" bang for the buck. LOL. However, it was easy to setup, works well with 10-52 cassette and a 30T oval chainring. It gives you almost instantaneous shifts. I run both SRAM GX Eagle (edit: although with an NX shifter) and Shimano XT (8100), both are pretty good. IME the SRAM shifter has better ergonomics and the Shimano has better features.
