The Specialized Fuse continues its reign of dominance in the hardtail mountain bike category. For the 2020 model year, this bicycle received a total overhaul, and it shreds harder than ever with 29-inch wheels. This bicycle does it all; it is a respectable climber, has a high-fun factor, descends well on a wide range of terrain, and wears a relatively solid build kit. Specialized delivered well-balanced geometry, and this bike now runs 29 x 2.6-inch tires, which deliver a precise and fast ride. Better yet, the Fuse is a solid value with an impressive price point and largely stellar build kit. We love it, and we think you will too. 
The Fuse isn't perfect. While the build kit is mostly dialed, the RockShox 35 Gold fork leaves a bit to be desired. The fork needed service immediately after purchase. Upon dropping the lower legs, we found that the fork had essentially no oil in it, and the seals were near bone dry. Once rebuilt, it felt marginally better. Otherwise, there was little not to like about this capable and highly versatile hardtail.

 It'S heavy it's cheap, but man. It gets people on entry-level bikes having a great experience, they're able to get a wide range shifting shifting that feels solid yeah. It'S heavy this bikes a little over 32 pounds. It doesn't ride like it, it doesn't feel light, but it doesn't feel like an anchor

 I have no problems with them: 160 rotor in the back 180. In the front, I plenty of braking - and these tires are fantastic. Specialize - makes amazing, tires and expect great tires on this. They seated really well with the tubeless sealant

 So I'm gon na give it 9 out of 10 for down hills. Playfulness! I'M gon na give this a nine and a half out of 10 having those chain stays in. The short position makes Manuel's jumps, bunny hops, popping off stuff super fun, and it's awesome. It actually has tire clearance with 2

 At most things, they're not gon na be the fastest bike on the trail, won't be the fastest up. REVIEW: The 2020 Specialized Fuse Comp 29 - Hardtail Party

 Let'S see how this works, yeah, still the rear tire. It'S a bit slippery front. Tire is okay, but it's very very shaky, we're quite loose down here, but these tires are actually good in lucid sands. I think it's a different story when it's wet, but here it's dry sand, works fine, yeah, very nice bike

 I really like this brushed or polished aluminium together with these black details, these black components and black tires as well as with these brownish reddish decals everywhere on the bike, makes it stand out quite a lot from other hardtails. I think, but not only that so there's internal cable routing for both the brakes and the drivetrain, and also this dropper speaking of the dropper. The saddle on top of this dropper is actually very nice. I sit very comfortably here and that's important on a hard tail, because that saddle needs to take some of that vibration and these bumps a little bit so geometry wise

 Actually, i've lowered the tire presses quite a bit. I usually have 1.8 bars of pressure, but that's way too much on these trails, but now the bike feels a lot better wrong here and i have more confidence in the jumps as well feels smoother, i'm not thrown about as much as i am before. As i was before, and now it feels a lot better

 I'M starting to appreciate this bike a lot more than i did with the first runs, and i think the biggest advantage with this bike is how little maintenance is needed to run this bike. It'S only the fork basically and the drivetrain just some lube on the chain and off you go and in myers this is a very good looking hardtail.  I thought this bike was so harsh. The first few runs, but after lowering the tire pressure and getting used to the bike, getting used to use the legs a lot more. I'M starting to appreciate this bike a lot more than i did with the first runs, and i think the biggest advantage with this bike is how little maintenance is needed to run this bike. It'S only the fork basically and the drivetrain just some lube on the chain and off you go and in myers this is a very good looking hardtail

2021 Specialized Fuse Expert REVIEW | Best hardtail on the market?

 It'S a tiny iron wheel by 2:26, purgatory in the back and the butcher in the front. Really nice grip. I was just rolling the crap out these tires. I'Ve got 28 psi in the back 26 in the front

 I think it was, and it's still just rolling it off just because you can put so much energy into the turns it's ridiculous. You could do a lot on this bike. Obviously you can put 2.8 or I think, almost 300 tires on here

 Oh, I think I just burped the hell out of tire there haha who says: oh yeah, I'm doing another descent on this. Do you hear that just slap that berm and it ripped the tire off awesome yeah, because these are like the two six tires, so they're not like full plus tires, but it still got a little squish. You know alright, guys he'll have a good one. Oh, we got a climb back up right again to the top Bernsen bench and it's a hardtail, no energy loss through pushing the pedals I'm exhausted today, whoo, but man I'm impressed with this thing

 So let's see how this thing descends. I could tell it's gon na climb pretty good already cuz. The hard tail - and I put this new Geo slacker, lower longer mentality of all these bikes yeah. The fuse is doing the same thing and it feels good
